Adam Lambert laughing about his Finnish skills - kissing became wolf
(tr.n. the Finnish word for 'wolf' is also used to express unsuccessful or failed attempt to create something f.ex. knitting a beanie and not getting the shape ending up with a flat piece, the end product is 'wolf')
Adam Lambert's fresh album Trespassing has a cover sleeve where the star singer writes special thanks to his spouse Sauli Koskinen. The Finnish part of the text did not hit the bull's eye.
YleX called the singer Adam Lambert to the other side of the pond in view of his new album. In the album sleeve he proclaims in so many words his love for his partner, the finnish media personality Sauli Koskinen.
"Sauli: my best friend, my light, my love. You've brought so much affection, joy and balance to my life. Your passion and realness bring out my best even in the midst of creative chaos. Sudella!!"
We asked what he might mean with the word 'sudella'.
"You know, kisses!" replies Lambert.
When he hears that it is in English "on a wolf" he ROFLs.
"Really? Oh gosh, the word 'suudella' has got two 'u's, right? I must have accidentally misspelled it" Lambert says laughing out loud.
The singer in a good mood easily turns this out to the positive.
"Well, I am a big ol' wolf so it's alright" responds Lambert laughingly.
