You can watch both angles now lol After watching several different kickin in bids and just watching Adam, I saw one that was taken from the balcony with a good view of Ashley doing her little dance moves. She rarely smiles, I want to ask her, why so serious? :-) |

Adam is just so silly, omg, I can't with this man, haha Do you think Adam fans have a well developed, tongue in cheek sense of humor that non fans just don't have? We laugh and think things like the chopped off shorts, the silly, campy dancing are hysterical and "so" Adam..... yet non stans think they are ridiculous (and not the good ridiculous.) Is it the way we look at things? Perhaps everything in our lives? IDK, just trying to understand why everyone is not stanning this man! because it is just so much damn fun! (Sorry to get so philosophical) I think it's just that people have lost their sense of fun, especially with the way that music has gone these past year, in pop as well as rock etc. To me, Adam embodies that same spirit that Steven Tyler, Prince, Freddie has (I would include Lady Gaga, but she seems to have gotten a bit pretentious lately, imo). That ability to just have fun and be ridiculous on stage, while encouraging those that are watching, to join in with them. I don't know, I think music, and the personalities behind the music, has just gotten stale and serious over the years. And the fun music seems to be aimed at, and dumbed down for the little children and pre teens so people judge it on those terms. |

(Sorry to get so philosophical) Yes, I agree. I think along with "being secure with your shit" (whether male or female and of any age), Adam fans have a strong ironic sense of humor. Adam has a wonderful sense of humor and wit and to a large extent you have to be a reasonably intelligent and discerning person to get it. Adam's humor makes his music that much more lyrical, intelligent, and emotionally poignant. It may be his fate to lack appeal to twits. Hope that isn't too career-limiting.  |

I prefer to view it as abandonment which is one of the things I cherish in Adam's performances. He just does what he feels in the moment. I remember him saying once that he worked hard to get to the point where he could do just that.....it worked! He has the power to just "be" -- cool or not. I think we all can admit that it's damn entertaining. |
