You know just because Tommy is in Adam's band that does not somehow make it forbidden for him to have fans. Tommy had fans in SoCal before he got hired to be in Adam's band and there is no reason that he can't have more fans now that he works for Adam. If people who are Adam and Tommy fans or even just Tommy fans choose to take video that focuses on Tommy that is certainly their right and while it is understandable that Adam fans may not care for the focus on Tommy it is not sacriligeous. LOL Think about it. Even if they are strictly Tommy fans they are buying tickets to Adam's concert, putting money in Adam's pocket. Why complain? It's not like we've truly been spoiled for choice? serious question because I don' t know - how did Tommy have fans prior to being hired by Adam when from everything I've read he was working an office job in customer service (or something) in a cubicle? I understand Monte, Lisa, & LP having fans prior to being hired as Adam's backing band as they had established music careers but it has always been my understanding that Adam was Tommy's first major gig as a musician? Is that false information? Where and for whom did Tommy play prior to Adam? I do agree that it's up to the individual who they want to be a fan of and if Tommy is your choice good for Tommy however IMO it makes no sense to go to a concert and cut off the head of the person singing the songs or have them completely out of frame while you focus on the guitar player who isn't doing much more than standing around. |

A grandmom? Have you ever seen home videos of someone's wonderful, talented, gifted daughter playing the second tree on the left in the class play? Or their awesome little son playing the triangle in the school band? Or of their clever little dog playing dead? If I am going to a concert/play/performance in support of, or because I am a fan/friend of someone performing, even in a minor role, my videos are going to be largely of them. Normal behavior, really. Heck, in my younger days I was dating a sound techie and I can't tell you how many shows I sat thru just in support of him, and he wasn't even on stage. |

Guyz, you got vids.
At my daughter's nursery school they have a standard saying when treats are handed out: "You get what you get and you don't get upset".
On the nursery level, you're getting a popsicle or a balloon you wouldn't be getting otherwise. If the popsicle is orange instead of the desired purple, accept it gracefully or say no thank you without whining. Here's there are wonderful vids, some which may have a few more Tommy shots than your perceived ideal.
Again, it's something that you wouldn't have otherwise gotten. Accept graciously or don't watch.
This is an archival concert thread. Don't want whingeing to overshadow the show. Please stop.

I think that accurately labeling the major focus of videos that are brought here would solve the problem. Accurate labeling would let anyone decide if they want to watch or pass on it. 8-)

If anyone wants to make a non-related Tommy or other band video comment, the mod team has decided that topic is CLOSED as of now.

It would mean that our posters who bring over the vids would have to view them before posting. That is asking alot of them when they are just trying to get the vids to us as quickly as possible. |

Hoppers, you didn't tell us how the kidlet like the concert. Did she rush the stage yelling "Adam"? Or did she ignore the music? How did she like her first concert? Ha! Did she wear the earplugs?
