Hoppers, you didn't tell us how the kidlet like the concert. Did she rush the stage yelling "Adam"? Or did she ignore the music? How did she like her first concert? Ha! Did she wear the earplugs? She LOVED the concert!! Admittedly there was some wailing during one of the opening acts when she discovered that Mommy would indeed bodily haul her out of the amphitheater for taking off her hearing protection while music was playing (Mean Mommy TM). But that meant she was super-careful while Adam was on. And she loved Adam's set. Trespassing (her absolute favorite song) kicked everything off and she sat on my hip and cheered her head off. There was a couple songs on Daddy's shoulders, an 'eh' period during some of the slow songs when she sat down on the blanket and finished her sandwich, then back up for the up-tempo numbers including "Cuckoo!!" cheeps. Other than odd mid-song begging for lemonade (**really** hot yesterday) she paid close attention to Adam and got really into the music. My back and arms are killing me today after dancing with her in my arms so long (why oh why did I stop going to the gym?? Oh yeah :  ;D ) ), but we both had a rocking good time. [grins] She also looked just right for the concert. Her school has an after-school soccer program for the 3-5 year olds...which just HAPPENS to have bright yellow and black uniforms.  Since she's been enrolled for a few terms, she has a set of jerseys with different numbers, including a big #1 version. Took a bit of coaxing to get her to wear the #1 jersey as 1 "isn't my favorite number [stomp stomp]". Told her it was ADAM'S favorite number, and she then cheerfully agreed it was the one to wear. ;D |

ETA: Still haven't managed to make my husband a Glambert. But now he admits there's at least one song he doesn't hate :  [throws a Willie Nelson album at his head]

MY DH loves Adam ,wants to know what's happening on a daily basis.. "So what's happening in Adam's world" so sweet. My DH is a hopeless case. He used to change the subject to Miranda Lambert anytime I mentioned Adam. Now, including today, he just changes the subject. ??? |

I uploaded 7 videos my daughter and I took on our Sony CyberShot or Iphone4 at the Freshtival to Youtube. Here are a couple, more in the same channel if you like. We were sitting further back (DH did not feel well) so the videos sometimes show the new Wilson bridge, boats on the Potomac and other stuff in the background.
