Cassie, I agree that it was big to Adam. Which is why he fired the sound guy. I was saying it wasn't something fans should worry about in terms of Adam's reputation or career, lol. One icky performance amongst hundreds and hundreds of fantastic ones is no big deal in the grand scheme of things and it won't "hurt" Adam in any way. I think that was what i was saying too. He didn't let it show if he was mad, but I am sure he was very frustrated. But not a big deal to the fandom in the big scheme of things. But how difficult can it be to get a basic, sound mix right? I am sure there is some art involved but much of it should be routine for a professional.

I think something so minor as a youtube of a mucked up performance will just be a little blip if anything at all. I'm sure all artists have them. I remember when I was so worried that the release of that horrid bastard Beg For Money CD would hurt him and I don't think it hurt him at all, and that was a whole lot bigger than one concert performance youtube. Most people will understand it for what it was. Yes but we are his fans and we have his back so why would one of us want to put a fucked up song which would upset Adam ,on YouTube. We have the ability to not do that.Especially if one of his fans took the video in the first place.

Huge, huge fan of Jian Ghomeshi!!! His interview with Adam was my #1 favorite. Incredibly talented interviewer. He did his homework like none other. The interview was thoughtful, interesting, in depth, gentle, and deeply respectful. He spoke to the beautiful thinker in Adam and addressed the many facets of Adam the artist and the person behind the art. The two voices together was its own form of music.

IIRC, Kanadie talked about this, maybe during GNT, and I believe he said that with a voice like Adam's, and different venues, it can be extremely difficult. Maybe someone can find his post about it.

If not, hopefully then, she will have second thoughts about posting it.

Yes, that's a curious word choice. Maybe Brian and Roger have some new songs in their back pockets that need to get recorded??? That was my thought/secret wish, too, when I heard that. The experiment could also be to see how they work together and blend styles for extensive rehearsals and a full set, if they share a similar artistic vision, if the band can keep up with Adam , if the audience reaction and critical review is positive. (And maybe, to see if it turns into an Adam Lambert concert rather than a Queen concert.)
Cassie, that last part was exactly my thinking when I heard Roger say that and it kept being repeated (the repetition is probably why I overthought it :-/) They must by now have some inkling of the type of following Adam is capable of acquiring. Could be a little thought-provoking .
