Adam did an amazing job co-hosting the show with Lauren. He talked all about gay marriage and the importance of being yourself. So inspirational! He also talked about his new album Trespassing and what it’s like filling Freddie Mercury’s job as the lead singer in Queen. Adam and Lauren also had a little fun playing the fashion forehead game and in the spirit of Trespassing, Lauren wrapped her and Adam up in police tape! I think there were a lot of jealous Glambert fans out there…I mean, who wouldn’t want to be that close to Adam!? I'm sure the shirt is high fashion, but like the Alexander McQueen shirts, it, imo, makes Adam look like he's 40 and works in an office. I prefer his airport and radio concert outfits (ok, maybe all the radio concert outfits except for the last two). Now I'm getting nervous what he's going to wear with Queen LOL. I think that was what i was saying too. He didn't let it show if he was mad, but I am sure he was very frustrated. But not a big deal to the fandom in the big scheme of things. But how difficult can it be to get a basic, sound mix right? I am sure there is some art involved but much of it should be routine for a professional. Very very very difficult. Here's a couple of articles about the greatest sound man to walk the earth. Unfortunately many artists do not pay as diligent attention to sound as people like Adam and U2. One of the things that has helped make U2 one of the best live acts ever has been the quality and consistency of their sound. Unfortunately finding another Joe O'Herlihy isn't just a matter of money. |
