ohhh... I love these clips.. and I thought they have all posted on their website. They only have 2 video clips... I want more  I keep re-watching Clips 1 and 2 while I wait for Clip 3 since they are so much fun, but RL stuff is interfering, so BBL. |

But how difficult can it be to get a basic, sound mix right? I am sure there is some art involved but much of it should be routine for a professional. Very very very difficult. Here's a couple of articles about the greatest sound man to walk the earth. Unfortunately many artists do not pay as diligent attention to sound as people like Adam and U2. One of the things that has helped make U2 one of the best live acts ever has been the quality and consistency of their sound. Unfortunately finding another Joe O'Herlihy isn't just a matter of money. Walked through the links. Man, the size and expertise of that sound crew is mindboggling MASSIVE. Holy smokes!  4 production guys 13 sound crew **3** monitor guys NOT including the main board engineer 11 tech hands Did I miss anyone?? Man, I wonder what Joe O'Herlihy could do with someone like Adam. Hmmmm....what are these guys doing when U2 *isn't* touring?? |

Is he associated with the station that sponsored the show? IDK, but since he mentions the money at least 4 times in that short blurb (under the pics also) I'm guessing he didn't just invent it. He's usually so p-a, so I'm not sure what his point is, but whatever. $40K is not bad for a couple hours work. You go, Adam! Toby works for Hot 99.5FM -- which is a Clear Channel Station. Freshtival was sponsored by 94.7 Fresh FM -- which is a CBS Station. I do not think that Toby could know more than rumors. But the number sounds directionally correct for Adam and the entire band. You don't think it's a little low for Adam's rate Q?? Or maybe this because this is a radio station's concert? I thought he doesn't get pay for these radio gigs |
