Summer 2013 seems so late. The album will be over a year old. Isn't the purpose of a tour to "Tour the album?" If he does South Pacific promo in Sept., what happens between Oct and June 2013? Weird! :-/
Somehow I have a feeling he will be plenty busy.But the point is, the purpose of a tour is to get the album out there. I can't think of one single Pop star that has started their tour over a year after their album came out. And, if we look at RCA artists, it is usually about 4-5 months, from release date, which would be end of Sept. or Oct. And if we look at DMG's other major Pop star, Katy, her album came out in August and she started her tour in Feb. |

I have already bought an eyes of horus belt buckle and yellow and black nail polish and other stuff and is that worthless now? Whaaa Whaaa...I want to dress up...what am I to dress up in? And why would he be picking merchandise out now for a tour that is a year away? Used to be tours were for promoting albums because that was how artists made money. Not albums are used to promote tours because album sales are quite low and the tours are the way artists make money. Adam is likely to make more money from the Costa Mesa concert alone than he has make from Trespassing (the album) so far. If he is planning to do a more elaborate and bigger tour this time -- and that is the impression he is giving -- it will take more time to put it together, rehearse, and promote it. If he is promoting the album until November -- and that would make sense -- then tour planning won't really start until after the holidays. So a few warm-up concerts in April-May and the tour start in late May-June -- makes sense to me. Plus a summer tour means he can play amphitheaters during the summer -- large venues and quite profitable. |

What I guess I'm trying to say is that there may be a different plan for Adam because it does seem he is being promoted as an international star. Also, and I may be wrong about this but aren't most tours in the US in the spring/summer? And don't forget when he wins his Grammys everyone will want to see him.
Maybe I' a wide eyed optimist, but I don't think we have any reason to worry. |

Oh right, he has a bunch of international stuff and Queen and whatever other surprises are in store. I just hope Z100 adds NCOE. Yay on WPLJ. |
