Yes!! Yes!!! And to top it off, it's a subversive message to legalize cannabis. I'm surprised more people didn't get that!!
And yes, people, I did say I thought parts of it are cheesy. I do. But hey, this is Adam we're talking about, so obviously I'm referencing brie and not cheez whiz. Okay? ;DHaha, but sometimes Adam can be both. And just to say, just because someone says they don't like a thing, it doesn't mean that they are trashing it and hate it, and if some one says that they like it, it doesn't mean that it's the best thing that was ever made and to be made. I don't see why everyone have to take things to the extreme. From a video standpoint, it's just alright to me. And I'm entitled to that. Hey, I love Black Eyed Peas, love their music, but just about all of their videos sucks. That doesn't make me a less of a fan of their work. Absolutely! Respect for all opinions here. Would be sooo boring otherwise. Love hearing different points of view. You wouldn't be here if you didn't adore Adam.

OMG LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEEEEEEE THE VIDEO!!!!!!! I'm a huge fan of dystopian concepts and I really liked the way they set this up. A bit ironic about the unclosing electronic "eyes" watching the inhabitants considering the lyric, lol. I really love the power Adam has in his hands (literally) by taking the pills that keep them (barely) alive and turning it into liberating color. And then at the fence when they were being sprayed, there was like a forcefield around him, right? That kept the harmful fumes from them, and instead turned into brilliant color instead and painting them in rainbow hues in a dance of freedom and rebellion. And then of course they had to stop dancing quickly because they had to go back and rescue the others, of course Love love love it!!!!! Going to watch some more! I'm still reading the thread but had to say NoAngel I LOVE your post and I LOVE this video!! I keep watching it to find more images I might have missed!! The concept of the video intrigued me and I am a fan of the sci-fiction cinematic type visuals. The bright colors and the dancing sequence I loved ...reminiscent of MJ videos. It's innovated and edgy Adam.....the video is a big WIN for me! I only wish that it could have been longer towards the end during the dancing and celebrating of freedom. Now back to watch it again.

LOL so true! For someone like me who loves to analyze things to death, that was a bit deflating But no worries, art is about everyone finding their own meaning in it. :D Anyway, what I'm wondering about is why Adam is different from the others in the NCOE video and why did he have the power to change things? Was he a newcomer? A mutant? Or maybe he just had an epiphany and realized the power that was inside of him all the time? I think the last one is the theory I'm going with. Notice, his are the only eyes that don't change...he's different, resistent to whatever mind control is being exerted over them so I take it that he's a new comer because he doesn't seem quite as "beaten" down yet. Or maybe he is just special... Born that way, with colored eyes and the ability to see and lead others to sight, like Jonas in The Giver, lol, which I just finished reading with my class. Off to work. More on my thoughts about the video later... No time
