Okay last post and then I've got to get ready for work. I understand if some people feel that the video could have had more amazing effects, more dancing, more etc. But seriously, take any 5 random videos from the VH1 Top 20 and you'll quickly see that most MVs are pretty dull and uninspired. Unless you've got Gaga amounts of cash, of course, in which case you get to make freakishly expensive videos that are more WTF than anything else. Adam gets huge credit from me for always thinking outside the box and being so creative with his videos. And I love him even more for making videos that reflect some aspect of his personality. In this case, the power of positivity to make change and to break free. Pretty awesome, I think. Exactly!  ETA: For me 90% of the music vids nowadays are a BIG WTF. I love a narrative in videos; I generally hate videos with choreographed dancing, or random spacial effects that have nothing to do with the song. |

I have been listening to ChumFM and somewhere in between Emeli Sande's songs they talked about Adam. He wanted to stay and listen to Emeli's performance and interview. The other host told that Adam was sitting very quietly and concentratedly while listening. During the interview when the other host was asking something from Emeli, the other host approached Adam and asked if he wanted to ask something. Adam said no and the host assumed that it was because Adam didn't want to take any spotlight off Emeli when it was her turn to speak.

Ok maybe some of us overanalyze. But are you telling me that the puff of blue smoke is not the spiritual rebirth of the pomegranate his shadow side attempted to destroy? And is it not obvious to everyone that this video is Adam's stand against genetic engineering, the pharmaceutical industry, and its toxic effects on and overmedication of the US people. 
Yes!! Yes!!! And to top it off, it's a subversive message to legalize cannabis. I'm surprised more people didn't get that!!
And yes, people, I did say I thought parts of it are cheesy. I do. But hey, this is Adam we're talking about, so obviously I'm referencing brie and not cheez whiz.
Okay? ;DTOTALLY!! Without a doubt a subversive legalization message. And one of those blue clouds looked a little like Puff the Magic Dragon to me. If you know what I mean. wink. wink. nudge. nudge. |

Okay? ;DHaha, but sometimes Adam can be both. And just to say, just because someone says they don't like a thing, it doesn't mean that they are trashing it and hate it, and if some one says that they like it, it doesn't mean that it's the best thing that was ever made and to be made. I don't see why everyone have to take things to the extreme. From a video standpoint, it's just alright to me. And I'm entitled to that. Hey, I love Black Eyed Peas, love their music, but just about all of their videos sucks. That doesn't make me a less of a fan of their work.  |

I heart him. Me too. Also the host who told about it, he had such an admiring tone in his voice. Admiring both the interest, concentration, enjoyment of Adam and the politeness and consideration presented in the situation. |
