WELL maybe viewing it ----sitting in the dark in the middle of the night ----is not the optimum time. Had no life to it...maybe that is the point...no life until the release at the end. So recycling ..using his new t-shirt in a recent concert. I wanted to see more of Adam and gang dancing.... full length with fewer cut aways ...to give it a rythm. Yah! Give credit though for taking a twist on the song---as he said he likes to do ... versus the straightforward approach so many other artist's vids take. WELL off to CLOSE MY EYES Well now that I am fully awake and have previewed one more time. JUST LIKE MANY SONGS out there, the more you hear them... you warm up to them and the same goes for this video. MY second viewing really warmed me up. I had to laugh at the comment a few pages back ....thank gosh this video is not like all the rest... it is not in the desert and not does involve a car... I so agree! And at least it creates a visual story open for interpretation. drab to bright...like the album...light and dark sides. All these analogies that keeping coming back at us THROUGH HIS ARTISTRY.I like the analogy someone shared back in the thread about the video being about life. I had not thought of that. So thanks... those words gave my brain a little jolt...YAH! So true...our life in mainly in our hands....mundane in many respects, but we have the power to energize and brighten up our existence. ....Which leads me to ...Lynne... I agree.... I love what he wore yesterday and I really like what he wore today on the Marilyn Dennis Show which I just watched several times on my PVR. He takes pride in his look and appearance, maybe not always the look we want ..but he puts in an effort. NOW that M. Dennis interview was great. Gracious and smart. SMART in that he appears BRIGHT/INTELLIGENT/ARTICULATE. I would guess the media need never be afraid of having a "bum " interview with this man. .

Nothing to hate. Your take is interesting. What is the threat? What happens if you don't conform? Why is he there? Is it a prison? Those are all valid questions. However, my take is that there is no threat. This is not a prison. It is just life. It is us going about our everyday lives. Going to work, living the nine to five. There are people about us living life fabulously and we don't notice because we are too busy being the working drones that we are. The possibilities are right in front of us, but we just don't grab them. The video focuses on Adam as the individual. As in life, it is up to the individual. If we want to, we can make our life different. It is that simple and that complex. I found your questions interesting, because the questions indicate that you are looking for the enemy. The enemy is conformity and the fact that we don't even realize how much we have bought into it. I love your interpretation of this, and it really rings true to me. Maybe TV and social media is the new opiate of the masses.

Adam says he loves making music videos. That in itself is enough for me to enjoy anything he puts out. Here's to many more! *raisesfullglass* Amen Sistah :D

but I don't know if they will air it here in the arab worl because it hints to REVOLUTION ) : : ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D When we share a board that revolves around Adam it is easy to focus on the similarities between all our members regardless of where we all come from. In fact I love how this place proves that people are people, with the same interests and hearts. I marvel how I often don't realize where people are from because in so many ways we are all alike. But it is the unfortunately rare posts like the above that remind me of the diversity that coexists here. The above statement is so far from my reality. I want to acknowledge the different lives each and everyone of us has, as we type on our respective computers. Here I sit in America, proud that I am one who can see Adam's beauty when many around me seem blind. But I must give the credit to those who have to search farther for the like-minded, and actively seek out Adam--those who can't easily get his dvds or watch his videos, or openly approve of his sexuality or the politics of his videos. In our stanning of Adam, we are all fighting his battle of equality, love, fairness, voice in the world, rights of individuality, and for the simple beauty of music. But some of us are in a different place in this battle. I am truly humbled by those that live this struggle in a real way in their everyday lives. You are the best fans. And I am so thankful that technology allows me to "know" you. Aw, Kay, your thoughts here, as they so often are, are beautiful.

I don`t wan`t to be rude but sometimes when I`m listening the radio interviews made in USA, I find some of the interviewers so irritable NOT to let Adam speak but talk and talk and talk by themself! Some of them really love their own voices and unfortunately totally miss the point! >:( Sorry if this is a little bit OT : Many of us feel the same way. These dj's are rude and are showing their bias. Adam is always a gentleman and puts up with their ignorance. Many probably do not respect Adam and are showing that disrespect. Fuck um. Adam always wins. Yesss You said it smokeyvera.Yeah, fuck um! ;D I just love Adam and can easily listen to him talking about what ever he wants to and find it interesting! And he really is! He always got something real to say!Oh my what that man is doing to us?
