lezgetreal.com/2012/05/adam-lambert-responds-to-jay-zs-support-for-marriage-equality/Adam Lambert Responds To Jay-Z’s Support For Marriage Equality It has been pointed out that the announcement by President Barack Obama of his support for same-sex marriage was unlikely to change any minds; however, it has been noted that his support will allow others to come forward. Since then, several artists including rapper Jay-Z have announced their support. Well, Adam Lambert has decided to weigh in on Jay-Z’s announcement. Lambert, who is the first openly gay man to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200- stated: “What’s powerful about it is that hip hop culture has become the new rock and roll in many ways. Hip hop is such a driving force of pop culture and there’s so much masculinity associated with the hip hop community.” You can hear the rest in the YouTube video above.

www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2012/05/29/watch-adam-lambert-never-close-our-eyes-video_n_1552733.htmlWATCH: Adam Lambert Heads To Top Of US Billboard Chart, Ahead Of Queen Tour (VIDEO) The former American Idol has gone to the top of the US chart with his album, Trespassing, including the single Never Close Our Eyes, featured above. Lambert is not the first gay musician to top the US chart - Sir Elton John and George Michael have both made it there, too - but he's the first performer to do it after coming out, something Lambert tweeted thanks for: "Thank you to the Glamily for helping me make HISTORY!" Lambert told AOL Music the album's title was "figuratively" inspired by his own life. "I do feel like a trespasser, but not in a literal sense, because I don't think I've broken into any property recently," he said. "I'm pretty eccentric, and as far as the music industry is concerned, I feel like a bit of an outsider. There are times when I feel like I'm breaking new ground by breaking in." more

Lyndsey Parker @lyndseyparker The new @adamlambert video is giving me Russell Mulcahy vibe. #loveit music.yahoo.com/blogs/reality-rocks/adam-lambert-blinds-science-never-close-eyes-video-192026006.htmlAdam Lambert Blinds With Science In “Never Close Our Eyes” Video / Adam Lambert has just pod-hatched his new sci-fi thriller video for "Never Close Our Eyes," and I imagine that if Duran Duran and Russell Mulcahy had had access to advanced technology (and access to RCA's advanced budgets) during their Seven & The Ragged Tiger video era, then their clips for "Union Of The Snake" and "Wild Boys" might've looked a little something like this. The future-shocking, body-rocking "NCOE" video opus is equal parts time machine and CGI machine--a sort laboratory hybrid of '70s space odyssey, Mad Maxian '80s dystopia, '90s cyber-rave, and millennial dance party. And it's about as addictive as the little-blue-different mystery pills that Adam's ruggedly outfitted fellow cyborg-patients gobble up like Pacman pellets in the video's early scenes. Color me impressed (in various shades of science-blindingly bright neon, of course). This just might be Adam's best video yet. Clearly it is Lambert's brave new world now. We just live in it.
