It's been three hours since I first watched the video. I just watched it again. Believe me, this video grows on you in a good way. My favorite camera shot is all the people walking around the building in line. On and on, never ending life. That was spectacular to me for a little video. Watching the rebel (Adam) come to life made my heart skip a beat. Watching the asses of the enemy spreading their smoke was cool. The best part was watching Adam dance while wearing those gorgeous colors. OMG the man is beautiful. I wanted at least another minute and a half of that dance. I want a whole video someday of Adam dancing. I am falling in love with this video. Everything this man does makes me fall in love all over again with him, the way he thinks, the way he speaks, the way he smiles, the way he walks, farts, burps. (ha) ;D The man can do no wrong. This is a great video. Keep watching it. Yes, it needs to be watched several times. It grows on you. Initially, I was not expecting to like it much, not keen on sci-fi and all that, but it's surprisingly great video. And Adam is looking smashing, so it's really a pleasure, lol. I'm trying to catch up on everything (which at this rate may take a month... :  ), but did anyone listen to a radio clip (today, yesterday?) where Adam was asked about a possibility to make a movie. This was the first time I've heard that he's actually looking into a couple of possibilities, real actual offers/scripts? Or, did I imagine it? |

I am always attracted to your posts irish but this is what I LOVE AND HATE about ATop. Love that Adam can do no wrong here, but hate that Adam can do no wrong here too. sometimes I need a friend that only LIKES Adam to tell me when I have gone over the love-is-blind deep end. Anyone?...didn't think so. Everyone here must be an Adam fan -- but there is no rule -- official or unofficial -- that says that anyone has to love Adam or love everything he does. I actually doubt that there is any fan that honestly love everything about Adam and everything he does. I am not a fan of the spiky shorts, I love his current hair but I am mostly here for the music -- and that is what I choose to post about. Would I make anyone's life any better if I posted a long piece about those shorts? Not really, so I chose to pass on commenting on the spiky shorts. Would another "love the hair" post really add anything to the world. I doubt it. That said, most of us are surrounded by people who are all too willing to point out weaknesses in Adam plus there are many other websites that serve that purpose. This place serves a different purpose -- it give fans a chance to connect with other fans and to comment -- and even to disagree. <Bracing for a defense of the spiky shorts. The only nice thing I can say is that they are >>> aqua board shorts.> I hope nobody took my post offensively--or very seriously. It was in response to irish saying she even loved Adam's farts. I only meant that this is not the place to look for view points from people who aren't a bit biased--me included. I LOVE ATOP and certainly consider myself a passenger on its crazy train. |

lol I don't hate you. However, I disagree with you. The fact that there is no overt threat, that people quietly take their pills, do their drudgery, and put up with constant surveillance is true to the world we live in. Over 10% of Americans are on antidepressants. Most work at jobs where there is constant drudgery. Most put up with surveillance without noticing it. The main problem with this mv might be this attachment to reality, hence the lack of melodrama. No one's tortured, but, you know, we don't overtly torture people in our society. We do it in a very different way. There is "escape" of sorts, but it doesn't involve physical escape, a physical breaking down of institutions. It's a perceptual change in the way we look at our lives, which the "artist," makes possible. I love everything about this post! It's so true. Every day people are living mundane lives, without really experiencing the beauty around them because they've shut themselves off. That's what this video is about. Opening yourself up to the possibilities of life. Yes. Yes. Yes.  |
