I think if Adam's people thought that Rolling Stone gave him a bad review ,they wouldn't be touting it with the EW review. I'm happy RS is talking about Adam again, hope we don't hate on the magazine.. I want them talking about our guy. I had no problem with the review and I sure hope that Adam fans are not bitching about it to RS. I want RS to talk about him too - hell - I want everyone to talk about him and 3 stars from RS is nothing to complain about. I don't get the angst. I was once a fan of another AI artist and every time anything the least bit disappointing was written about him, an army of angry "mommy" fans rushed in and trashed the reviewers for every real and imagined slight and generally gave them so much hell that this artist became almost a laughing stock largely because of his infamous overprotective "mommy" fans. A lot of fans left as well because of the constant angst. I don't want the same for Adam. :-/

I just tried again, and same dang thank you already counted your vote. :-/ Sucks!!!! I have only contributed one vote, this pisses me off! Thank you to all of you that can get in multiple votes, Green Day looks hard to beat. :-/ You have to keep voting even though it says they have counted your vote. Then after a while you will get a pop up box that says you are temporarily blocked. Don't stop just at the counted vote message. After a couple of hours try again and keep going until you get the blocked pop up.

OMGGGGGGGGGG I'm so late to the flail but just finished listening to the stream of the GNT CD. Woah. It was amaaaaaaaaaaazing! It was weird, because the concert experience is so overwhelming and so much sensory overload, and experiencing JUST his voice without the ~distraction of his beauty and his unffy dancing, really hammered home to me how ridiculously amazing his voice is. Those notes! That energy! Unbelievable, damn! The sound is incredible. What a treasure to have this recording to enjoy forever. I love that Adam did this for the fans!
Also, Cayman, I'm really skeptical of earthquake predictions. I've been through several, and one big (7.1) one. It's just part of life here in CA. Your son should prepare an earthquake kit, but otherwise there's really not much to be done. I know that's not much comfort, bb, but the odds are VERY much in favor of him being just fine.

My husband and I watch the DVD, listen to all the CDs, acoustic and FYE, and all you can hear is: "Oh My God, is there anyone out there who can touch that man? Look at him. He is so incredible." We act like we did the first time we saw Adam on stage, and we are still overwhelmed with wonder and joy at Adam. He is the most special man I have ever been attached to, and my husband doesn't ordinarily like anyone, male or female. He is grouchy in his old age. But he loves Adam. It takes us back to the beginning of our life together before we got married and our life was a drunken orgy most of the time. Adam takes us back to our romantic, hot, crazy past. I think that is why we love Adam so much. I just don't understand people who aren't interested. I hope a lot of people get access to the DVD and see what a wonderful performer Adam is. I think they will be shocked at what an incredible talent he is. "Fuck Rolling Stone Mag." These are my sentiments too. I copied that from above. I love this :D

Cayman, I echo those who are skeptical of earthquake predictions. The only advice I would give is to have insurance for the stuff. Stuff can be replaced. He'll want to focus on loved ones and his own safety first. Oh-- I see several have already given the same advice.

I am sorry, I got a phone call from son who lives in LA. He is worried about his flat screen TV and car, seems on the news there they are saying it is 99% chance between the 19th and 26th LA will have an earthquake of 6.0. This will be Kevin's first earthquake, IF, it happens. I asked him if he wanted to come home for that week. He said he could not, needs to work to pay the bills. I told him to get online and find out what he needs for earthquake kits for home and car. That is when he says, I am ONLY worried about my flat screen TV and my car. : His apartment has underground parking, wanted to know if I thought he should park his car on the street for that week???????? He is 25 going on............I do not even know what to say!!!!!!!! I didn't tell him that I really do not give a flying fish about his TV or car, I was cool, calm and collected. :D Anyway, sorry it took me so long to answer. Cayman, I lived in LA for 35 years. I lived thru the Northridge Earthquake, which was two 6.2 earthquakes within seconds of each other. It was pretty devastating. There is such a grid of faults in the LA area, having a 6.0 and its effects have a lot to do with which fault line moves and whether it is located on land or out in the ocean. You can really feel the rocking and rolling and it's so quick that by the time you react, it's over. It's the after shocks that become very disconcerting. My oldest brother was visiting from NY when it happened early in the moring. He was scared shitless. Typically peeps put earthquake straps on electronic equipment, which prevents them from falling over. All my art work had special earthquake hangars. He might want to put away anything of value. As far as himself, it just happens so quickly. He would be safe to have a blanket and food and drinks in his car, just in case. Thank you for the great info. I will pass it on, he will be thrilled to know there is something that may protect his flat screen TV . He makes me pull my hair out! I'm not sure, did you meet him Club Nokia night? He stood at the table for a couple of minutes, I met you, the table was VERY full. Kevin and I left for a smaller table, had to talk about his break-up from the girl he thought was the one he was going to marry. So thrilled that visit included Club Nokia, great memories for me, Adam, so NOT the drama of Kevin's & Jen's break-up. :
