www.vh1.com/music/tuner/?p=208677&xrs=share_twitterShearer’s Spotlight: The Dark Shadow Of American Idol Over the last decade, the world of popular music has discovered that most American Idol contestants, though very talented, aren’t necessarily artists: Performers who write their own songs and/or are really good at personalizing the ones written for them. The days of frosted hair and Kelly & Justin frolicking on a beach are over. Other ways to dodge the Shadow include: Pure talent (Jennifer Hudson); writing radio-friendly rock songs with your band (Chris Daughtry); having “Battlefield” and “S.O.S.” in your repertoire, dating a fellow pop-star, and starring in a movie with Whitney Houston (Jordin Sparks); or having the promise of being the greatest frontman on the planet as soon as the right rock band takes you hostage (Adam Lambert).
Yes... the shadow cometh.. whatever your name is season 11 winner.

www.fuse.tv/2012/05/adam-lambert-kos-kris-allen-on-album-charts"IDOL" ALBUM SHOWDOWN: ADAM LAMBERT KO'S KRIS ALLEN Three years after likable singer/songwriter Kris Allen beat out 1980s fetishist Adam Lambert as the winner of American Idol's eighth season, Lambert continues to best Allen on the Billboard 200. Released within one week of each other, Lambert's second album outsold Allen's second LP by a whopping 61,000 copies if you compare first-week sales. In terms of chart rankings, Lambert's Trespassing debuted at No. 1—a first for an openly gay male singer—while Idol victor Allen's Thank You Camellia debuted at No. 24. Not to editorialize, but YIKES. In its second week, Trespassing dropped to No. 11 on the charts, selling 22,000 copies (still more than Allen's).

Okay, gotta ask.....anyone else not recieve their FAULT magazine yet? 2 Weeks are up. Not sure I want to keep bugging them, but I definetly won't be buying the Summer issue, I probably won't get it until Winter, lol. I have not heard of one person who ordered from Fault who HAS received their magazine yet. Just the prize winner of the autographed copy, and that came from Charity:water. We are all impatiently waiting and feeling duped. : Well they (fault email) told me 2 weeks ago, that would have been yesterday that they would all be out in 2 weeks, given the mail w/ holiday here, i gave that til yesterday. I have heard ppl recieving them, but.......dang, I want it in my hand already, lol!! thanx
