I'll agree that Wlkes Barre sounded and looked incredible from start to finish, but have to disagree about the other concerts only having a few instances that transcended excellence. Fantasy Springs BO was breathtaking, but WLL was legendary. A moment (or 8 minutes) frozen in time where you knew you were witnessing something you would never forget.
I will add to epic AdaMAYzing moments:
+ Returnng to GMA and singing live + Huge article in Billboard delineating label's long-term plans for him + major article in Rolling Stone
I think the dark and light sides are equally as strong. The front half is more sonically innovative, where the second half is more lyrically/emotionally complex. Though of course there is still great sonic innovation on dark half and complexity and great lyrics on light half. I almost always listen through start to finish every time.
And POP THAT LOCK is my JAM!!! I have more car choreography to that song and that wail he sings towards end of dub step breakdown gives me chills every time.

The song that plays most in my head I think is Underneath. I don't know why, but the lyrics and everything, they've burned to my mind. And I gotta say, Outlaws of Love always brings a smile to my face (not mentioning about the tears today) when I remember watching that amazing performance online from Canada at 4 am here in Finland. Adam in the rain was so beautiful.

I actually like both halves equally. Well, maybe I love the second half a little more. And wow I LOVE this guy's take on the album. He actually has some orignal thoughts -- and opinions that differ from the majority of reviews we've seen. And he's a good writer. That's always a biggie for me.
Yes! I love this writer too. Knowledgable about music (knows what dubstep and brostep is.) Plus, understands that Chokehold is a metaphor and is not about S&M! "Lambert conveys commitment issues as he metaphorically tries to avoid getting caught in a lover's chokehold. ''I keep running away…from you,'' he sings. ''But I can't stand breaking the chains…It's too good.''
You can tell he listened to every song, to the end! (Not sure all the writers did that)

The light side of "List one great Adam thing that happened this month":
It may not be considered great but imma gonna stick to the shallow end and say that the fashion was fearless. From the leopard prints, $ shirt, stud shorts (yea, you heard me) to the beautiful suit.
Plus, he recycled the green shirt. I love that thing.

I have come to loathe AI and all its parts, but having Seacrest announce Adam's #1 billboard success the week after he performed was a very, very good moment.

It was thoughtful and I appreciate that. Personally, though, I'm all about the light side. I think the first 7 songs are amazing. On the dark side, I love Chokehold and Nirvana the most. Then Take Back and Runnin. I have to confess that I often don't make it to the dark side though. I like to dance ! Me too, kathleen. I usually listen to the first 7 songs, then skip to the Bonus tracks. Love the Bonus tracks. Then I go back to the first 7 songs. On the 2nd or 3rd time around I listen to tracks 8-12. And it's not because I don't love 8-12, because I do. It's that I FLOVE 1-7 and 13-15!! I have to repeat them about 3 times before I move on!

Just because I was there for AFL first ever headliner show AND his first ever live performance of BO. I was brought to tears.

This month's list of awesome can have its fun parody: 1. Adam Lambert is an excellent driver :D: "Adam Lambert’s Hollywood home sits atop a long driveway so steep that you could mistake it for a concrete wall. When Lambert began renting the midcentury modern with stunning city views, he thought the driveway was a pain. “To get up, you’ve got to overshoot it, turn around, come back and then turn in really fast at, like, a 90-degree angle, or else you scrape the whole bottom of your car,” he says. But after photographers caught wind of the American Idol star’s address, Lambert came to appreciate the driveway: “They’re not coming up that thing!” " (Rolling Stone) 2. Adam Lambert hates the leather poncho, too! :D: "Have you worn anything you now regret? All the time. Even things from three months ago make me wonder what the hell I was thinking. The last one was a leather poncho thing. I’m too fashion-forward for my own good." ( Metro, UK) 3. Adam Lambert's knees make their official debut :D:
