Ahhhhh, Q!Always the voice of reason and a clear understanding of all this promo stuff. So glad you are here! thanks, chilling now.................... I am a happy, chilling cassie today. I have Trespassing blaring from my new stereo system (the old one was not powerful enough to do the songs justice. #itsadamsfault) It is great to pump up my energy to do a top to bottom spring cleaning of my kitchen. (officially, summer doesn't start til June 21, so I can call it spring cleaning) After a year and a half, I HAVE NEW ADAM MUSIC. Fans love it. Critics love it. Life is good. Adam just hit it out of the park with the Canada PR, and I got all kinds of goodness to watch/listen to, including the extemporaneous singing of Queen songs. Life is good. Adam is getting great PR in the UK. It looks like he will soon be embraced there as he deserves. Life is good. Adam is on his way to England to perform in a high profile charity concert and to rehearse for CONCERTS WITH FRICKIN' QUEEN. I love the irony that we learned he actually auditioned for We Will Rock You in 2004 and didn't get the gig. Now, he is doing the REAL THING. We will undoubtedly get video from those concerts, and if anyone is slightly intelligent, an official broadcast program or DVD. Life is good. Adam is scheduled for more concerts throughout the summer, with more likely to be added. While I cannot fly around the country to attend, I will listen to every YT of every song, and be deliriously happy that he is back on stage where he belongs, where he wants to be. Life is good. Adam is doing what he loves. He has a strong personal relationship and great friends who support him and keep him grounded. Life is good. Okay, back to act two of the kitchen cleaning. I have promised myself that I can take an Adam break every 30 minutes, but, then back to work. Listening to Adam makes the work lighter and sparklier.

Adam is in a very high stress period of his career. So many things that are happening have two sides to them. For example -- he will be performing with Queen. An amazing opportunity for him and delightful to many of his fans. I know he will be brilliant. But I also know that he will not be perfect and that everyone will not like his take on this music. I choose to focus on the positive. On the brilliant parts of what is happening for Adam. I am not delusional and I know that many things are important to building a successful music career -- but there is not one path to success -- there are many paths. *** Look at the airplay. Adam and RCA are going to have to work to move NCOE up the chart. There is no magic check that can be written to get a song on the radio -- and many of the backdoor ways around the laws have been closed down. Adam is battling against a lot of established Top 40 artists. I choose to focus on the great spins NCOE got last night and I have faith in this song and RCA promo and Adam. But if NCOE does not breakthrough on radio -- what happens that is so bad? Nothing. Adam will have another single. Yes, request. Yes, vote. But then take a deep breath and have some fun. The only thing I worry about is that fans will start to get discouraged and burn out --- and we have a lot of more important things to do in the near term. Like get NCOE to #1 on VH1 once released there. I don't think his true fans will ever get burned out. Not me!

Watching jesslala's video's they are great. What camera are you using? I use a Canon Power Shot SX210IS. It's a great little camera with a 14X zoom and it captures great sound. It has image stabilization so you can really use the zoom. If you have steady hands, unlike me, this camera is excellent. bit.ly/L8vq1s I have that camera will bringing it to Queen for sure. thanks

I was at a shopping mall (in Finland) today and went to Lindex which is originally a swedish chain of stores for women's clothes, now owned by a finnish company, Stockmann. There was pop music on, I noticed, and started to check their racks. After a while I perked up hearing something interesting which was Jessie J. Laserlight - and the next song was SHADY!!! Later I complimented their nice music to the sales clerk. She said that they get new music every month to their store from Sweden and the music we heard is brand new. I did not hear any finnish songs which leads to a guess that maybe the same music mix is used also in Sweden and everywhere else perhaps. If that is correct it's huge because there are 440 Lindex stores in 14 countries. The downside, of course, is that maybe people don't pay attention to the music if they don't recognize it and how many clients go to find a clerk in order to ask whose song was played even if they like what they hear. Still happy Adam news!

Goodnight all of you! I will think of Adam and of you while perhaps swimming in the crystal clear lake. I'll leave with the thought... and just a thought - who knows Truth?
I see in Adam a man who has a great capacity and range of emotion. At the same time, he focuses on the positive when speaking publicly, its amazing how he genuinely finds the positive centre of things, rather than doing "denial". What a skill.
And when that combines with his emotional and experiential range, it makes for a powerful combination. I feel he gets it all - the hard. broken, vulnerable side and the inspiring, dynamic, forward looking side. As a result, he feels Real.
I feel so much of the Real in him. Others here have put it so well. There is so much Love there in that soul.

Need a clarification.
When Adam plays a radio station event with other artists...does the station ask him to perform...or do the management teams of artists ask if they can participate? Or a combo of both?
But if a station says YES..love to have you... I don't get why the adds do not follow such an event. Why waste the events time with an artist they do not wish to promote through adds? There has to be more to it...than I am just not getting it.
I "do get" from the conversations on the thread that he is doing this as promo and is not paid. And for FYE he was not "booked in" to do the jingleballs as they thought he would not need to do them. Now he does to get exposure.
OH PS As far as gettng burned out. This is his passion...he has goals and as with any business there are those who work hard their whole working life. Young adults and people in many, many careers work their butts off for personal satisfaction, to get ahead, or out of necessity. The hard workers may be getting fewer and further between .. but don't get me started on generational differences related to investment of energy (company time and personal time).

He is just so different than anyone I've ever 'followed'. Things get better everyday it seems. I seem to love him more and more every day.

Just wondering - can anyone tell me how pictures are chosen to go with mag or newspaper articles? The good article today in the Daily Mail (UK) has a photo of Adam in full GNT top hat and make up - which I feel is a little bit unfortunate as his intro to this country, especially considering how amazing he has been looking lately. Does his management have a choice or have to give approval? Not dissing the shaman look (too much) just that it's not really him 'now.' Would really like to know how these things are done...
