Q3 I know this was discussed a while back, but can't recall where to find the info now.. Is there any way for US peeps to buy "By The Rules" from the Japanese CD via iTunes? If not, where is the best place to buy the Japanese CD for it to count towards the sales numbers? Thanks!

People on Twitter are saying that By The Rules might be the albums first filler, and I slightly agree with them. But I actually like the song. It reminds me of Taio Cruz a little bit. It's catchy. I only listened to it once a few hours ago, and even after listening to the rest of the album twice, in full, I still have the chorus stuck in my head.

BTR seems like an excellent bonus track for Japan to me. I do not think it is filler but I think the production and style does not fit the rest of Trespassing. So it is the first real bonus track stylistically.

I know, he sounds gorgeous and the voice is so crystal clear. And yet there are people saying that "whatever they did" to his voice ruins his song and that "all the autotune" ruins it?! ??? Surely we can't all be listening to the same song? Really a gorgeous song with his voice.. whoa! Maybe they're used to hearing him wail and be more aggressive with his vocals? Not sure why they aren't hearing him like we do. ??? It sounds like Adam to me, I don't get that. :-/ His voice almost have that soft, lilting sound to it, almost like the way his voice sounds in Nirvana.

Been lurking for ages, decided to register to share with you guys that I received my trespassing japanese edition today! Weird that it arrived so early...the release date is 6/6. By the Rules Lyrics Just uploaded to youtube Welcome monsterdeto!!! ..... and Thank you ! I wonder why RCA decided to give different bonus for each market, Japan, USA, & UK?? Is it because they song By the Rules fits better to the Japanese market or it's just smart marketing? I meant Adam fans want everything Adam and they will purchase it eventhough it's sold accross the pond.

entertainment.inquirer.net/43655/another-sing-off-for-adam-lambert-and-kris-allenAnother sing-off for Adam Lambert and Kris Allen By: Rito P. Asilo Philippine Daily Inquirer ... Longevity As far as longevity is concerned, it doesn’t look like Lambert has anything to worry about—because his exceptional talent sustains his record-selling and crowd-drawing cachet. In fact, his prodigious gifts as a performer can turn mediocre tunes into palatable performance pieces. In “Trespassing,” punk and glam rock find unlikely companions in electronica and alternative music, genres that allow snippets of Lambert’s multilayered personality to come through. So, as his different musical persuasions unfold, so does he. Among the track listing’s crowd-drawing cuts are the irresistible “Kickin’ In” and Bruno Mars’ cute-as-fluff “Never Close Our Eyes.” You want to dance? You’ll enjoy “Trespassing,” a catchy, fun-filled hybrid of Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury. “Shady” sprinkles its funk-fueled hooks with lovely harmonies. Lambert’s dance numbers tend to sound the same, but his renditions “differentiate” one tune from the next. Malleable pipes On the other hand, his ballads defy pop music’s cookie-cutter mold: The power of “Broken English” rests on Lambert’s malleable pipes, while the ethereal “Underneath” shines with its persuasive theatricality. “Outlaws of Love” is a smooth ballad that demonstrates the singer’s depth as a performer—and his enviable octaves! ...

Thank you, monsterdeto.
After a couple of listens, I really like "By the Rules". Very pretty, relaxing, flowing song...it just invites you to sink down and relax. The melody and the voice together are yummy... the lyrics...who cares? ;D
