*Drags her tired ass into thread* But perhaps what I find most remarkable about Adam's appreciation of the fandom is the way in which he "GET'S IT," to borrow one of his favorite expressions about us. And he has EVERY reason NOT to "get it." He sees the crazy at its craziest--at a level we have only limited exposure to. He gets the madly adoring tweets every day. He gets the people breaking down into uncontrollable sobs in front of him. He gets the screams at a pitch which sets the neighborhood dogs off. But in a couple of recent interviews (which I now, of course, can't find) he put it all in the most generous and understanding light. He called fandom an escape, and a hobby, and something to get excited about. He understands that really, his fans just enjoy having something to spend their positive capital on, because it pays us back and then some. And then, as NoAngel described this morning, fans pay it forward to other fans. (Love that contagious happiness thing that begins with Adam!) He doesn't think we are crazy (at least not in a bad way)--he paints us as people who possess a small, not particularly sophisticated, easy to reach key to their own happiness in a complex and often difficult world, and who are not afraid to use it. He made us seem, gasp!, NORMAL. Somehow, I so appreciate that reading of fandom, and when I get a little insecure about and a little overwhelmed by the sillier aspects of it, I try to hang on to Adam's generosity and reasonableness, and borrow a little of it for myself. So your welcome, Adam, and right back atcha, kiddo. With Trespassing, we are repaid in spades. Hell, if that's the pocket, I wanna live in it! Thanks, MWP!! I always love to read your take on things! Perfect!! Glad you survived the move!

Random topics (all Adam-related) so please feel free to scroll. I don't mind - Wilkes-Barre was fantabulous and meeting many new Atopers at Rodano's was icing on the cake. In DC before checking in at Gaylord, had lunch with my nephew (R) and his wife (M) and their adorable 8-year old son (K). I was a little leery because they love classical music - K could identify Vivaldi compositions at age 4. R is a lawyer at the Dept of Justice and M works at the Pentagon, speaks 6 languages and goes all over the world for her work. As soon as we sat down, M said to me, "I heard you have a THING for Adam Lambert" (oh, oh, here it comes).......I answered in my most emphatic voice, "YES and I am having the time of my life!". Surprise, surprise, she beamed and said, "So happy for you - I'm glad you have a THING for him. He is very talented." YAY - I have a THING for Adam, I have a THING for Adam!!!!!" DH and I will be going to Manila in August and today I checked what it would cost if we stopped in Tokyo for the Summer Sphere. Wow - tickets for the Tokyo concert on Aug. 18 are 245 British Sterling Pound each and you can only buy a ticket in Japan or have a Japanese credit card. The Osaka tickets for Aug. 19 are a little cheaper, 135 BSP each. Hmmmmmm.....have a few weeks to decide. Yay - Adam will be at the RAH on my birthday! Hope we get videos . . .please, please, let there be ninjas! NoAngel, will miss your insightful and lovely posts but enjoy your much deserved hiatus. See you in London!

So many times I want to make a comment and don't but today I am particularly impressed from No Angel's post, Slapdash La Rue's Adam/Queen (a bit of angsting which I myself subscribe to) midw's words, the GREAT gif !!!eiyiyi ! including the dance vid which I watched numerous times last night and again this morning...
I laughed at Stampsgal "lecturing sister" which I get from a daughter, the heartfelt reviews brought in to enjoy and the young girl singing Underneath ; the song I can only listen to once, not twice in a row as it is so emotional to me I immediately have to hear Shady to get back on track.
I journey to Greece with Gelly, Serbia for Alekzandrav, Finland with our fabulous Adam berters, the UK, Brazil, NZ, Australia, Korea, Italy, Germany,Sweden,China, Japan, Maylasia,Israel,Russia,South Africa, Ukraine,France, neighboring Canada,Syria,Scotland,Ireland, everywhere in the US and , and .....it's a geography lesson and cultural awareness to be a fan of such a wonderful human being.
Thank you to all !

After Adam tweeted out that video, I can't stop watching it. That choreo is just wow. I love all the little moves they do to Adam's little ad libs. Like the "oh" after show you what is cold, the second "crack" et. I would so like to see Adam's songs on SYTYCD. I wonder what the choreographers there could come up with.
