Miscellaneous comments: 1. Good to have one of Adam's songs picked up and sung. Good exposure. 2. She sings it in the same key that Adam does. That says something about Adam's range. 3. Falls a little flat for me. Not in pitch, but in emotion. Adam has singled this song out as being very challenging/difficult to sing. I don't think he is talking about the notes or the range, which are in his comfort zone. I think he is talking about emotional vulnerability. To make this song work, the artist must strip away all "here I am, performing an emotional song", all showy presentation, all pretense, and expose the true emotions and pain. Not just when the song builds to "red rivers of screams", but, more importantly, at the soft, simple beginning. Without that, the song is ponderous and slow except for the big chorus. She didn't sing it badly, but I was bored. 4. Hearing someone else do this song, I believe it may be one of the "untouchables." A song I don't want to hear anyone else attempt, unless they are a master at tapping into the deep pain and vulnerability of the song. 5. I would love to see Mia Michaels (of So You Think You Can Dance) choreograph a dance to this song (sung by Adam). She has a wonderful way of tapping into primal emotions. 6. Now I need to go back and listen to Adam sing it again. Isn't he incredible? |

Bringing this over form last night's posts. Posted by whatyasayIt shows how to vote in more than one category on the O Music Awards without having to split your votes.There is a way to vote for both the Must Follow and Fan Army with the same vote if you want. After you log in you will see your "name" (either twitter of fb) at the top of the screen in the black box where it says "Hi ... you have XXX votes"  When you click on your name it takes you to this screen and you can add what you want to vote for (yellow box) and it automatically votes for all of your picks when you click on "Vote for my picks" with the same vote - no splitting.  |

Jubilee is gorgeous, wish Adam + Queen were performing at the concert tomorrow, would have been the best publicity! Nice of Her Majesty to put all this on for Adam ! ;D ;D ;D |
