Does anyone know how NCOE is doing compared to WWFM? I ask this because I have no clue what is going on with NCOE. Is it dying on the vine like BTIKM or is it going to make it to CHR? I don't understand any of this stuff and don't want to be all negative about it but maybe some idea of it's progress compared to WWFM would help. Thanks!! All our WWFM info was lost on Planet Fierce. I do know that it peaked end of March beginning of April which was 5 1/2months after its release. If NCOE follows the same pattern, it won't peak until Sept.

Hmm, I guess my memory is faulty than. I think I remember, that for BTIKM, there were a few early Cumulus adders, and the rest added later. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think when BTIKM was around 30, it was starting to stall and go down the chart, than all of a sudden it started to get a 30+ spins a day update, and that was due to a bunch of Cumulus stations spinning, and then later adding. It was due to a bunch of new stations spinning, but iirc they weren't all Cumulus, it was a mix. But someone would need to dig back in previous threads or in adaminradioland to find out. ETA: 7 Cumulus stations did start spinning and then autoadded BTIKM on 2/26 atop.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=numbers&action=display&thread=743but there were heavy adds dates in the weeks afterwards that were very mixed.

Also, didn't WWFM get CHR adds much sooner than NCOE?

WWFM got two huge adds right away---Z100 and KISS Los Angeles. Kiss basically didn't play it much (or, at all?) but Z100 pretty much single-handedly carried the song on CHR in the early stages. They kept it in power rotation for a LONG time.
Honestly, the situations are so different it is hard to compare. But, the 5 1/2 month statistic is a good one to keep in mind.

Interesting Notes
NCOE got several spins on different formats. Wonder if these are syndicated spins?

WWFM was sent to radio and received its first spins on 11/14/2009 and got its first add on 11/18/2009. WWFM climbed the CHR chart a lot faster than NCOE. Yeah, WWFM also had to deal with the Christmas freeze, so I guess this should be kept in mind when looking at the 5 1/2 month number. But, having Z100 spinning early and often really carried the song (this also contributed to the timing "issues" the song experienced)
In retrospect, I would love to know what RCA had to do in order to get the big stations adding first week.
