I think the Kris CDs must be import copies, I don't think Sony is doing country-specific releases for him beyond the US. If you look at Adam's you can clearly see the Japanese packaging. Heh yeah it's kind of irritating that it seems like Adam can't escape Idol, but I'm sure both the label and the store are hoping that the synergy of assocation sells more albums than they would apart. Not sure if it will actually work like that, but I can see the thought process. No doubt you are right, but I still don't like it

Something tells me they are targeting Adam fans hoping to entice them into a Kris CD purchase rather than the other way around. I know it shouldn't matter, it's not like they were gonna buy two Adam CDs or anything anyway. But I'm weary of the way Sony/RCA seems to intentionally want to coattail Kris onto Adam. They had some success with it the first go around (yes I admit it, I have a dusty, once played copy of KATA in my old CDs bucket), but I think they may be surprised by how little that works this era. Although the label may have nothing to do with this particular instance, I'm not sure what drives the stock of import CDs. But that store will likely learn the same thing.
