I personally prefer "are you ready to party tonight, motherf*uckers" or "dance bitches!" But those probably work better when he's not wearing a suit. Or when Adam's doing a concert for sick children ::)I like when he calls his audience ladies and gentlemen.. It's classy.. Better than being called a ho. I think he gave an incredible performance.. he was really working it. The man is so heads and tails above most performers that all I really want him to do is sing.. Idle chatter isn't why I have gone to his concerts . I can listen to my friends, children and DH for idle chatter.LOL Adam was raised right; he knows what behavior fits the time and the place. It was Royal Albert Hall, not a barn. The audience was not the typical Adam concert audience. Many of them didn't know who he was. I think he spoke well, sang fabulously and looked great.

Aloha, I think your Fault is still a long way off ... I haven't received mine here on the West Coast yet, so I imagine your turtle is still treading water, waiting to pick up his cargo. :(

It's London darling, those kids hear worse on an hourly basis I was gonna say - even tho I'm not a fan of the language we use all the time now, it's hardly something that kids don't hear at school and in their music and everywhere else. Just is. Yeah, I know. But, as hypocritcal as it sounds, there's a difference in *knowing* that your kid hears certain language at school or wherever, and condoning it inside your own home or car. PARTICULARLY for little kids who don't yet have the comprehension of when certain words are ok, and when they're not. I would have comitted hari kari for saying this before having the kid, but I wish I could have formally bought a "clean" version. Now, I'm even more embarrased to say I wish Cuckoo is such a big freaking hit that they make a KidzBop version I can safely play around my kid and her playmates. (So dammit, NCOE, get yer ass up the fucking charts!!)

Took only four minutes to get two third-row, just right of center stage, seats for Fantasy Springs!!!
My hopes are high for everyone tomorrow! IT WILL HAPPEN.

Fantastic performance from Adam at the RAH, amazing on every level. How does he do that? Alien, that's all I can say...out of this world.
Want to comment on the band based on what I read here over the last 10 pages or so (twitter comments brought here and others added here). I think the musicians were great and certainly very tight together, but imo they are not going with the groove of a song, like Adam's regular troupe does. I find them producing a very staight-laced 1-2-3-4 beat without the minute syncopic delays that make it truly sound like funk or this just a tiny bit loopy play that Cuckoo needs. In NCOE it mattered a little less than in the first two songs, so here it was less marked.
I think that Adam tried to compensate for it a bit with his singing. And it shows to me just how talented he is, that his rhythmic instincts are just so strong that he can produce those playful nuances in his singing, without the band helping him along the way.
These surely are trained professionals and have learned these songs quickly, and who knows what they could learn over time, but I am almost inclined to say, if it ain't in your blood, it is hard to develop this part of playfulness in your play. Trespassing just needs to sound more funky than it did and Cuckoo "cuckier" and obviously I am not talking about Adam here, but about the band.
For me, what stood out, even on the simple fan recordings we so far have, is that the sound mix was excellent, gave the instruments more room to shine and the sound engineer certainly reacted to Adam's signaling. Well, I guess it shows that whoever gets to be sound engineer at the Royal Albert Hall is used to dealing with very diverse settings, both vocally as well as instrumentally and is otherwise just darn good at what he/she does.
In the end, Adam made it all work in his usual fantastic way and hopefully got tons of folks interested in his album. What a wonderful night!

I bet Brian and Roger will have a really really good sound man for the concerts. Now Adam just needs to find a really good sound guy for his 'one off' performances and his concert tour.

Adam did a great job at the Ray of Hope concert. However, after seeing close up vids, I am absolutely sure he missed his regular band mates. Adam is in his comfort zone on the stage. He is going to bring it in every performance. However, he brings it to another level when he is comfortable with his supporting cast/band members.
The local band members did a great job. I couldn't hear the background singers that well in the performanes that were posted. I hope he connected with some new fans in the UK>
