I just looked at this and was struck by the differing descriptors used: Singers Leona Lewis and Adam Lambert performed in London on Thursday for a children's charity fundraiser concert. Pop acts Pixie Lott, Conor Maynard and Alexandra Burke also sang at the Royal Albert Hall ................... Boyband JLS........................ ETA for teddybear:

Adsm says Tresspassing is his make or break album. Talks about the exposure factor. I think they are not using the right songs, based upon their marketing strategy.

I think Adele possesses a remarkable intuition, artistry, and a depth of feeling for someone so young. I am heartened by her success. In a world of gimmickry she is the real thing. Sacrilige, I know, but I find her album a bit boring in its entirety. But there you go - nine million plus buyers don't agree with me. However, I do think that her CD, like SueBo's, is a safe bet for gifting and that is a large part of her sales. 8-) ditto! she is super safe and became a default music gift - the same exact way as SuBo was. ...she does sound like country (to me) = all the gazillion country fans in the US must be loving her

Elton John Sets AIDS Awareness Concert in the Ukraine, Will Open Tampa’s Sun Dome in Septemberwww.classichitsandoldies.com/v2/2012/06/08/elton-john-sets-aids-awareness-concert-in-the-ukraine-will-open-tampas-sun-dome-in-september/Elton John and Queen are teaming up for a free concert June 30 in the Ukraine capital of Kyiv. According to the Kyviv Post, the event, called “Your Life Is Not a Game. Let’s Stop AIDS Together,” will take place right before the Euro 2012 European Football Championship Final, and will help raise awareness of the fight against the disease. As previously reported, Adam Lambert will be handling vocals for Queen in place of their frontman Freddie Mercury, who died of AIDS in 1991. Elton, of course, has spent 20 years raising millions for his own Elton John AIDS Foundation. According to the paper, both acts refused payment for the performance. In other Elton John news, according to published reports, the pop-rock legend’s been tapped as the first performer at the newly renovated Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida. The venue just underwent a $35 million renovation, and Elton will mark its grand opening with a September 14 show. Tickets go on sale June 15 at 10 a.m. It’ll be familiar surroundings for Elton, who played the old Sun Dome in both 1986 and 1988. Photo of Elton
