Full set shot from behind - audio is good Adam Lambert, Trespassing Cuckoo Published on Jun 7, 2012 by creepingaroundhere NCOE Published on Jun 7, 2012 by creepingaroundhere Thanks for posting these vids, houselady! I was just going to. You can really see Adam working the band & the sound people...lol! And, it really gives you a different view of him while he's singing. Very good sound, also. The thing that struck me most on these vids wasn't Adam, though. What, you say?? LOL!! My eyes were glued to the darling child, dressed in a sparkling outfit, right in front of Adam, dancing their little tushie off. My heart just melted and the true reason for this concert hit me hard. I'm so happy for all those children, most with severe illnesses, getting to see all the cool singers, including Adam, of course. What a time of joy it must have been for them, and being out of their normal day to day routine of being a sick child must have been like heaven for them. Before seeing these vids, all I cared about was seeing/hearing Adam. Now that I've seen them, it's much clearer what this concert was all about. I'm so touched and humbled, I can't even say. When Adam sang NCOE, I actually teared up thinking of how the parents of these children might interpret the lyrics. I also think, after seeing the kids in the front row, that that explains some of Adams big smiles into the audience that you can see when watching the vids from the front, straight on. ILHSM!!! You echoed my thoughts. First of all, as usual, the ever-present sound issues which made me both cringe and smile. The stomping of the foot which seemed more pronounced after his visit to the drummer was interesting. Once he announced NCOE and I looked at the kids, I groaned inwardly. A friend's 7 year old died a few years ago and I've never gotten over the horror of it, so I am always careful to avoid situations where it will come up. Never thought much about it until this angle video. Adam looked fabulous and did a great job, but when I watch the Wilkes-Barre videos, all others fade into the background. He was incredible there, relaxed, funny, uncensored, and so Adam. Not to bring up old business, but to me there is a huge difference when Adam performs with his own band. It may not be in the technical skill of the players, but in the whole atmosphere of the performance. Perhaps I am projecting my own feelings and not the reality of the situation but at much as I understand and agree with his decision not to transport everyone and everything to Europe for two short performances, I miss "the band." Yes, I know Adam is a solo performer, but it doesn't mean I don't feel the absence of his partners in crime. From page 10 - Yay, Cassie. Well said. We all have to be able to take as well as give opinions and criticism. I often vehemently disagree, and it is usually with the same 3 or 4 people, but I know I won't change their minds so I don't bother to post a dissenting view.

Or maybe he hooked up with Nile Rodgers and they are rehearsing "Shady" with Chic and jamming on a bunch of other stuff together. I think that would qualify as magical. Nice thought but I don't think he is jamming with Nile because Nile is in Manchester (gig there tomorrow) and Adam was doing interviews in London. As for Sauli, his interview tomorrow is taped, don't know about monday's, that could have been taped too. Initially I thought that doing Tutkas with Katri this week would be finished on friday and he would fly to London for G.A.Y. performance and stay there for a while. Now the monday interview could be live and there is also the Helsinki Day concert on tuesday organised by radio Aalto (where Sauli was interviewed last year and did some work for Aalto before abruptly leaving for London which broke off that work). With all this I am a bit dubious about his leaving for London just yet. I don't think he could be there today, they must have taped some Tutka today too. But no hints on Tutka's or Katri's pages other than yesterday (or the day before) that they were having fun and busy. Oh, well. Still hoping that Nile, Adam and Sam Sparro can hook up this month when they are all in London. I won't get to see it, but hopefully some lucky Londoners will! Thanks for the info.

Thank you gabby, loved to read the article. And, I wish for the Shady performance, too. It might be possible next weekend, fingers crossed.

Why did Sauli leave and go to London? Sorry, I don't know much of Sauli's story before Adam (except for BB part).
I noticed that Eber had said that he had bought his tickets for London. I wonder if the entire family is coming for the Queen concerts. Anyone heard anything?
