I don't know if you can watch the video on this internet site in other countries but could you all please give it a try? : Yesterday I saw that the NCOE video is already on the internet site of our German music TV channel "VIVA"! But they didn't take the video into their TV program so far and in the internet is has only 147 views until now! Perhaps it would help to bring the video into the TV program if it has more clicks in the internet!?! ??? Thanks in advance! Here is the link to the "VIVA"-site! www.viva.tv/musik/artists/adam-lambert-208822/videos/never-close-our-eyes-785314/

Did you see the Sleepwalker video I posted for you yesterday on page 26? I did. Thank you for posting it. I think Sleepwalker is my new favorite song You live in the south or north? I also really still love the Leno tv version of Sleepwalker. There was something electrifying about how he started calm and then turned on the emotion at the beginning.

With what is being played on Top40 right now, anything goes. You get a range of sounds. i feel Running would fit right in, but Kickin in would be a hell of a lot better. With the exception of two songs that crossed over from Alt. Rock, the songs on the Top 20 of the Pop charts are typical Pop/Rhythmic/Rap songs. The only big change has been that teeny bopper music is now HOTTER than anything. Between The Wanted, Carly Jae, One Direction, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez at #21, this type of music makes up 25% of the top 20. Runnin' would not fit in on the Top 20 of CHR. Also, it is a bonus track which means Adam and his label have many other songs in mind for the next single or singles. Running is not going to happen.

Both "Tom Dooley" by the Kingston Trio and "The Sound of Silence" by Simon and Garfunkel became hits because DJs on local stations (Salt Lake City for "Tom Dooley" and "The Sound of Silence" in Boston and a couple of towns in Florida) liked the songs and played them off the albums. That would never happen today, and it's a shame, I think. Radio is so programmed that you hear lousy songs fifty times a day while great songs are left hiding in the shadows. OMG! Now we are talking ancient history. Out of curiosity, I looked up Tom Dooley by the Kingston Trio. It was a hit 54 years ago, in 1958. Just for fun, I decided to research what was a hit 54 years before I was an impressionable 15 years old, listening to the Beatles on the radio. Here's one I came up with: And this was the #1 record that year! How things once were in radio, what was once popular, how we wish things were again..... ah, folks, we are sounding like our grandmothers, here. Walking ten miles through a blizzard to get to school, having a sum total of three dresses, each of which was worn for a week and then laundered by hand. Top 40 radio is what it is, today. Pop music is what it is. Probably no better or worse than it was when we were young. Just different. Adam and his management are navigating today's musical taste and promotion as best they can. Adam is doing what he loves. He has plenty of dimmers by now. He'll never again be the tall guy in the funny hat at the back of the stage singing in the chorus. To me, it's all good. Aww!! MEMORIES!!!
