I checked back on spins for three days and cannot see it. This is one of two stations I have been requesting to. Can anyone on twitter connect with islandfgirljams to find out when it was played...thanks. I do not want to thank the station unless I know they really played it. And check to seewhen they played it ...if in the middle of the night when I was tucked in bed, I might even say ...so excited..hoping to hear it during day light hours!! |

I meant to ask this the other day when this clip was first posted. Apologize if it's been answered. What is an international record deal versus the domestic deal that Kris received? Why is it better? Why is it better?? Because Adam is being marketed to countries all over the globe as opposed to just the U.S., which can be a very narrow (although huge) market. Adam has the support of Sony Japan, Australia, Canada, Singapore, South Africa, Finland, New Zealand, UK, Russia, China, Germany, Bulgaria, South America ... you name it!! That is HUGE!!! Kris is marketed to only the U.S. and because it is an extremely constipated market right now, he sold less than 20K his debut week, which is very low. And while Idolberts will discount foreign markets because the charting totals are comparatively low to the U.S. that is becoming less relevant because U.S. sales totals are so low. Additionally, going platinum in a foreign market brings money and status that transcend U.S. BS. From the beginning they knew Adam would have international appeal and they were right. That will continue to grow. If U.S. radio continues to be ridiculous, he has so many end-arounds. His cache as an international artist is major. And the Brian May "Our Boy" made me totally choke up!!! |
