I phoned a local store yesterday and they will have GNT Live in stock on Monday and it's Saturday here already. WHOO HOO *waits impatiently* Adams voice has often reduced me to tears with it's sheer beauty. This is OT, but Hayley Westenra's performance of Amazing Grace yesterday at the Christchurch commemorative service also made me cry. Hayley is a successful classical singing star in the UK, but she was born in Christchurch and in fact had only been back in Britain from there a few days before the quake struck. I could see Hayley and Adam making beautiful music together. catzmadam....thank you for that amazing vid. She even did a key change acapella.....and with Adam-like diction and resonance. She is really superb.... |

I know the link has been posted earlier, but I thought I'd copy/post the whole conversation. Despite the common usage of CD/DVD in the press (force of habit), we registered the release as a DVD. So it will show up on the Soundscan/Billboard DVD charts, and will obviously debut a lot higher than a CD would have, then hopefully achieve RIAA certification much quicker as well. All sales through the AO store will also be reported in Soundscan, and contribute to the overall total reflected in the DVD charts. |

Hi! Guys! This is the first chance I had to post today. Could I ask one more favor from all you amazing download finders? Does anybody have mp4 downloads for ENTER SANDMAN in New Zealand that Adam did for Tommy's birthday and in Milan, Italy...I think it was during IIHY, when Adam called out the two girls fighting and told them to hug each other? I promise not to bug everybody again. : I think I finally understand how to do the downloading video links for my iPod thingy! |

Thanks Cassie, Susie Fierce and Mszue for your lovely comments on Hayley. We are very proud of her and Kiri Te Kanawa.
I posted another performance of Hayley's in the Masterclass thread as I didn't want to spam this thread with OT stuff. BUT, I remember seeing this years ago and it is exquisite - she was just 15 years old.

It's strange that you should mention the Adam like diction Mszue, cos I noticed that too and what's so funny for me, is that pre-Adam and without all the singing technique knowledge tthat i've picked up subsequently through the fandom - well hell, I'd have never noticed the diction at all.
