Catsmadam - Thank you so much for posting that Pie Jesu! God her voice is beautiful This piece is actually my very favorite Lloyd Weber composition. This version of it just beat out the recording I have. Do you know if she has a recording of it? (Clearly THIS is the type of voice I love - I was feeling kinda weird last week when everyone was loving Adele and I was really disliking her voice - glad to have found some common ground :D) Pjd, I'm so glad you liked it. I just checked iTunes and she has oodles of stuff on there including Pie Jesu. She is pretty big in the UK in particular I believe. This is another favourite. She is singing a very much loved NZ Maori love song in this one. Hayley Westenra - Pokarekare Ana (English Subtitles)... (I won't embed them, don't want to incur a hand smacking ) www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GXua6gD4Hc&feature=fvsrDanny Boy is stellar as well. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nzd6mbfp6rs&feature=relatedRighto, I am backing away from the computer in 5....4.... 3.....2..... It's a glorious day here (well what's left of it), I"m gonna put the roof down on my beautiful BlueBelle (car), go for a 'topless' drive along the coast with Adam and Haley blasting on the stereo and spend time remembering my Mum who passed on two years ago today. Ciao for now...

From Mindchanger: *slow clap* RT @green_silver: adam's tweetdeck search is full of goodies. Read this www.twitlonger.com/show/9bogp6Really interesting (not paying attention to the Cook fans part). Just returning from a day with my daughter. Yesterday, son day, today daughter day. Son, move and install new frig, spray weeds in his back yard. Check. Daughter, hit Lowe's, paint, curtains & rods, buy plants for my own house. Help daughter paint granddaughters big girl room, hang curtains. Check. Finally home to play in my flower gardens............to freaking tired :-/ Decided to visit here and unwind. I love it here, such good people. Anyway, sorry to bore everyone. Just wanted to say, I love this read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a comment to add to RCA Ed's confirmation that this is DVD release and the CD is the bonus. 1. Retailers are classifying this as a CD so it is getting stocked in the music section vs. the DVD section. That is what Adam/RCA/fans want because that is where buyers look. 2. Music reviewers are reviewing the DVD/CD and therefore listing it as a CD/DVD -- that is a good thing IMO because the alternative is Film/TV reviewers who would not bother to review it. Finally, RCA Ed has more patience than I would have because he gets pummeled with questions that presume that RCA is brain-dead and need fans to plan the strategy. I have noticed that he usually selected the intelligent questions to respond to but some of the radio questions on AO.com range from silly to down-right mean. Interesting...just glad it is being reviewed, And I agree with you about RCA ED. I do not go there often (ever really) & I know ppl complain about his style, but honestly the things ppl ask and dissect and 2nd guess are incredible! Do all fans do this? I've never gone to a fan site before. I know I would have a far shorter fuse and tolerance for the questions and comments he deals with. What came first, his short answers or the belligerent questions?

I have a partial answer on Aftermath Remix and radio. 1. Adam seemed to have jumped the gun when he said to request. 2. RCA Ed had his timing messed up -- it is going out to radio next week -- it will be a digital file emailed to stations. (I do not have official confirmation from RCA on this, this is what 3 radio PDs have told me they understand is happening.) 3. After the Trevor Project campaign is over -- April 10 to May 10th (no date yet), Aftermath Remix will be sent to digital retailers -- iTunes, Amazon MP3 and others. At this point the current plan is to have an add date and do a soft push for airplay (not a lot of promo money). 4. Everything related to this appears to be in motion and could change at any moment. There appears to have been some miscues on this single's release because I do not believe RCA planned it. Since it took a non-traditional path, some of the normal processes were not followed, and that resulted in a lot of confusion. I am getting the impression that this is one Adam kind of mucked up a bit. However, it looks like it will work out fine in the end, and he will get an extra single out of FYE in the US. My question is that I wonder if Adam purposely tweeted that radio request tweet to demonstrate the song was popular and should go to radio. Just a thought -- but I have never seen him miss that much in the past. Plus the Tampa and Philly pull backs on playing the song were just odd. I think it should all be clearer next week. In the meantime, I would wait until stations have the song before requesting. In other words, ignore Adam's tweet. Thanks Q3.. you are so on the ball.. appreciate all that you do.

Also, I'm not sure one can assume that Adam's friends weren't getting paid market rates for working for him. (Plus, this tweeter clearly has an axe to grind w/ Cook fans. ) Still some interesting points, especially about Adam leveraging connections and friends w/ talent he had pre-idol.
