Trying another time-zone . carrbertþ@carrbert @shoshannastone "our boy" Brian is so good to support Adam. I think he is ready to sign the adoption papers. LOL In Gelly's absence, can anyone else remember the interview where Adam said of Brian and Roger "...........They're like proud dads" ???. I wish I can remember which interview he said that. He frequently said "They're super paternal" so I hope somebody can find the link to the interview where Adam said what you quoted above, justgill. Will keep trying though :D

In addition, I understand there are significant tax advantages for Adam in having his own band (a legitimate business expense) than in simply using a pickup band where it is just money down the drain. Huh? Why is a "pickup band" not a business expense? No, no, it is, but since you pay your own band more and pay all their travel expenses, etc., the write off is much larger. That's what I meant.

I don't usually request that you all vote a certain amount of times when I am being PIA. But today, I am. The Friday #1 song on 10 at 10 had 4900 votes. So, can we all please try to cast 50-100 votes in this poll today and see what happens? I guess I am now "Extreme PIA!" ;D www.q102.com/pages/top-10-at-10.htmlJust put in 50 votes so far and will do the next 50/100 :D later.

That doesn't make sense. Of course the write off is larger but so is the expense. Ergo: Less money for Adam. Which is why he used local backing musicians in the UK rather than the usual suspects
Re the UK band: what band? There's no band, they are just musicians helping Adam out during UK promo. It's ok to compare, but it's all empty talk. My feelings towards Adam's band are the same as they are towards his family and friends and house and car and clothes: I like them just because they're Adam's. Some build something of their own onto that initial love, some don't, but the basics is always the same - AFL.
I know we're past this subject, but I agree with the above from Aleksandraky. I don't think it's fair to even compare the 'bands' ... the UK musicians have done a fabulous job of making Adam's 2 performances enjoyable with hardly any time to rehearse. I say, Kudos to them.

Well, play with backing track then. I love the hard hitting bass line which is absent with the live band. Although I love the improv with the live band
Ah well, moving on ;D

If I were there, I'd have taken my shirt off the second he said "I wanna see tits"! I've never done it before, but I'm sure I wouldn't be able to refuse his orders 8-) I almost took it off here at home, just watching the video... ;D ;D katycake, don't be sorry, maybe your chance will come later.... : Ooh, I hope so! Although, trying to explain to people what I was doing with only my bra on might be difficult... ;D
