Seriously?? These people voted for this guy?! OMG! Unless he is hiding a part of his voice, there is no way he could do justice to the Queen songs. Geez, he sounds like Herman and the Hermits! He is British though, so I will take it as a positive that Adam came in second. Obviously, Glamberst did not know about or vote in this poll!  Hahaha!! I agree he sounds like Herman's Hermits!!! |

I can't figure out how to vote....I ranked every option (photo of singer) which came up - Adam wasn't in the bunch. |

I think the Liam Gallagher votes are not so much a reaction to the vocals, but a reflection of the reputation that Oasis had. Lots of Queen fans are seeing this whole thing more as a question of status. Their opinion is that Queen should only be fronted by a guy with respectable resume and that going with anybody who is in their mind not established just pulls the reputation of Queen down. And for those guys, idol is the opposite of a good reputation and a BB#1 and a Grammy nomination is just not sufficiently establishing the credentials they are looking for. It's more like at work when a young 30 year old is brought in from the outside and made VP or director over much older people when also multiple well known established candidates would have been available. The choice just does not make sense in their mind. Adam also sounds quite different than Freddie, in spite of the shared range, so some folks just don't like the sound, even after listening to the EMA performances. For people who feel this way, the fact that Adam's vocals are so superior to a Liam Gallagher or a Paul Rodgers is just not as evident, because Freddie it is not, so therefore it cannot be good. It is just a very different way of looking at things. Luckily there are many who see things like we are and they are already recognizing what Brian May is seeing in Adam. Others will have to be won over in due time. As Adam has said, he has to prove himself over and over again. He will do it and we just have to realize that with some folks it will take some time. Can't help that they are slow ;D agree with everything, craazy... but as we all know - regardless of silly polls, public votes and endless fan site discussions - only two voices count in the "who should front" debate  not only that - but as we've seen today - the same person most probably was a choice to front Guns and Roses as well (speculating of course)... awww.. my DD just told me that "Adam performed at the MLB cave"... ;D apparently she visits the MLB fan cave site...who knew... this little gig is turning out to be quite an exposure opportunity!the e-mails, the link on their site.... exciting times! |

I meant I like him, but I keep on giving him one star and I don't get Adam >:( That's it!!! I won't give them anymore hit. I've never get to vote for Adam. I'm done! |

I rated Adam 10 STARS and the rest are either 1 or 2. Adam is #1 now. I tweeted it so hopefully Adam's fans will participate. |
