I've really enjoyed Adam performing with these new musicians. On a couple of videos from g-a-y, there were comments about wanting Tommy there : I know it's part of the fun for some people, but I didn't notice any real difference musically. Same for the bass. I did notice a huge difference in the drumming. Isaac really is a class drummer. And I noticed a big difference on keys as well. What surprised me was how much I enjoyed the back up boys - to my ears, they blended really well with Adam's voice and I didn't hear one "off" note. But I'm certainly no expert. Yeah I love the new band. Backing singers blend in well and don't distract from Adam! The vajayjays have grown on me but I still don't like them trying to oversing Adam on Trespassing, Shady, Broken English. I like Tommy but I think Carlos has more energy, skill, versatility, and he's a real rocker if Adam's still going for a rock band. Oh and he's a hottie :-[ Also prefer the new bassist's take on Trespassing. Beyond that I'm indifferent I agree with this assessment 8-) For me, on my end of the internet (that means, I'm not talking about seeing them live, only on YT) "The Band" is never that good but somehow make themselves a distractions. And on those vids (again, it might be different live) his background singers sound horrible most of the time. I just want pure Adam, all the time. And I do know that he can't sound like he sounds on the CD when doing live performances, but London came the closest, at least to my ears. It might be a backing track, it might be the UK backing musicians, I just know that I'm loving the UK "era" so far.

www.dailystar.co.uk/playlist/view/256090/Laugh-on-Mars/LAUGH ON MARS 11th June 2012 By Kim Dawson with Mik Curtis ABOVE: Adam Lambert GLAM pop prince Adam Lambert reckons Bruno Mars’s hit-making HeWhoCannot amed card is his wicked sense of humour. Adam worked with Bruno, 26, on new single Never Close Our Eyes, which drops in the UK on June 24, and they had a barrel of laughs. Adam, 30, told me: “People don’t realise what a funny guy he is. He was always goofing around during the sessions.”

Lambert - who has gone on to have a glittering career since coming second on the eighth series of the talent show - also praised the final three hopefuls, stating he believes they were some of the best he's seen on Idol. When asked if he agreed with Phillips taking the Idol title over Jessica Sanchez, he revealed: "Yeah. When it gets down to the end it’s not necessarily the best singer, it’s more about the majority of the voting audience and what style they’re into.” ... By Joanne Dorken @mtvuknews
