The singer has announced that the UK release date has been pushed back a week and it'll now be released on 9 July. However, the lead single from the album, Never Close Our Eyes is still out the day before on 8 July. Phew! Trespassing has already put Adam in the history books by making him the first ever openly gay artist to score a No 1 album in the US Billboard 200. Can he replicate its success here? Though his album's a tad late, we're sure he'll be forgiven on this side of the pond as UK Glamberts have Adam all to themselves this summer. Related: Adam Lambert feels responsibility to be a figurehead The singer is making the UK his home while he plays his shows with Queen in July and promotes his album and single. He even popped into 4Music last week to hijack our Twitter account and we trended worldwide - proof that we love him just as much on this side of the pond. Some of you may have been lucky enough to see him perform at London's G-A-Y last weekend. Oh, and Adam has been crowned Billboard's Sexiest Man In Music. With all this success, you could say that Adam is a far cry from the guy who auditioned for American Idol back in 2009. Though he's still his humble self, it's fair to say the boy's done good.

Had to jump in and make my fingers work for this. Thank you tinafea. Your post and that video made me cry. A perfect reminder of why I'm here. Yep - what you all said - I love all three versions of this song - and the long haul is what it is. A few of us were talking about this performance in the chat room the other night. I am soooooooo glad that I took a leap of faith and travelled to LA for this show [and Nokia]. The whole place was waiting with baited breath to see if he would sing this and it was pure magic. There was swaying and tears throughout...just amazing. Worth ever second of angsting over 2 go or not 2 go....to think I almost missed this...I shudder to think of it... |

Went from March 19th, to Maypril, to June, to July 2nd, to July 9th :-/ Yea but look what the delay did. It made him the N1 album in the US with an amazing publicity!!!

Congratulations on your well deserved title -REIHMER.....CONFECTIONER EXTRAORDINAIRE - I believe it applies very well to more than just the wonderful cakes. There are Adam pictures & avis that you post that also meet the definition of extraordinary "eye candy" for all of us to enjoy.
