Marcus also has almost 700,000 followers I REALLY REALLY hope and believe, since Adam is going to be in London for a long time that Marcus and Sam will all go out together and get papped somewhere. Major exposure to the UK teens . Adam's name has to be seen as much as possible in the UK.

Hi - am NEW!!! Have followed Adam since 'I'm not Skuuuured'...........................and just seem to be visiting here more and more.
Were you guys on Planet Fierce....................... I loved it there - such fun ?
Anyway, I'm from the UK and BASICALLY KNOW NOTHING AND HAVE NO SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERTISE AT ALL .....so you should probably just ignore me and listen to your long term people........................................................ but in my opinion the delay to the single release in the UK is no problem at all. Adam is really virtually unheard over here.
The way artists usually release new stuff in the UK is via a music video - which is then taken up by radio and then the single drops. So getting Adam lots of exposure here is VITAL. Our top 40 is extremely fast moving - singles often debut really high and then drop out rapidly, not like in the US where you have a really slow burn and then months and months in the top 40.
Capital Radio are doing the most amazing job at playing Adam, their DJ's are really adorable and totally on board. Capital is very influential station - HOWEVER - NO-ONE else is yet playing him and unless Radio 1 plays Adam - he probably doesn't stand a hope unless there is a massive internet pick-up. Shoshohohi - has really got to nail this one. The BBC article yesterday was AMAZING and just what he needs. And I have to say that personally I believe any publicity can be made into good publicity. There have been gazillions of hits to the Billboard most sexiest music stars - this just has to be a win!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Queen gigs are a bit of a double edge sword - the Radio 1 and internet kids who WILL make Adam a success in the UK single charts will be profoundly unimpressed - as will be many older Queen fans - who see him as karaoke/ talent show sell-out material. Of course there are hundreds of thousands (me included) who will adore it - and they may have an impact on album sales in Europe - however Adam's album is very pop/electronica which is not what some of the AFL/Queen fans are looking for.
Hope this doesn't all sound too negative . I would adore for Adam to be a MASSIVE INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS. But this business is fickle - at the moment , pimply, pubescent UK kids are smashing it internationally - in another few years it will be..........????
Thank goodness, Adam is amazingly talented - and fall back careers for him could be fashion designer, stylist, film star (please, please, please Elvis biopic!!!), Broadway, politician, rock star.........................................................................
in the meantime , I'm loving NCOE :D

From wikipedia Corrie in popular culture The British rock band Queen produced a single "I Want to Break Free" in 1984 which reached number 3 position in UK charts and which is largely known for its music video for which all the band members dressed in women's clothes, which parodied the characters and is considered as a homage to the show.[151] The video depicts Mercury as a housewife, loosely based on Bet Lynch, who wants to "break free" from his life. Although Lynch was a blonde in the soap opera, Mercury thought he would look too silly as a blonde and chose a dark wig. May plays another, more relaxed housewife based on Hilda Ogden.[152] I do believe this was misinterpreted in the US and Queen, never did as well in the US after this. Wouldn't be surprised if this is one of the songs on the setlist. Brian probabl told Adam the story and how it affected their status on radio and lack of US support after this song. I remember that video - I loved it. Never occurred to me that it might have a negative impact on the band. But then, a lot of the reactions in the mainstream US culture still surprise me. ???
