Intro paragraph of a review of the new movie, "Rock Of Ages". Love that Adam as now been acknowledged among the list of great rock singers, as if it is a given. "NEITHER hard work nor will power can turn Tom Cruise’s voice into the steely pipes of Freddie Mercury, Steven Tyler, Dennis DeYoung, Peter Cetera or Adam Lambert—that’s simply a scientific impossibility, because an exceptional voice is a special gift more than an instrument acquired through rigorous training." entertainment.inquirer.net/45255/tom-cruise-hits-all-the-right-notes

News Блок MTV: Самые привлекательные звезды шоу-биза I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT IT SAYS EXCEPT THAT THEY'RE TALKING OBVIOUSLY ABOUT THE SEXIEST MAN ON BILLBOARD! Lol at the small red heart covering up the kiss at .30! the whole narrative is disgusting! starting with :" Scandal in the USA! For the first time in the history of the BB magazine the most attractive man is GAY! According to the results of the vote this title went to Adam Lambert"... then they go into condescending, stupid talk... not translating this garbage.. reminds me of the radio station interview before Maxidrome...

Jon Stone @jonstonevideo Everyone chill. It isn't that exciting. Many people were asking him directly questions about Adam. I don't know if this is what he 's referring to. It sounds like he's sorry he ever tweeted anything. It was probably some silly little clip he did and people started making it out to be a huge deal.

We are having a bit of a conversation on the dark side that I would love to see over here...and is appropriate I think. If not delete away :-( We are stating our favourite tracks and what we would like to see. I just posted this: I just have to pop back in to say that I REALLY believe that Shady could be that breakthrough track. It is up at or near the top of almost everyone's list, regardless of the other track favourites. It is infectious to the max. Furthermore, [as was Fever], the cd version is at least as good, if not arguably better than the live version...and if you want it to hit on radio...the radio version has to be marvellous. Not just the live version. jmho If I had my say, I would SOOOOO release Shady...and have a few big performances with both Niles and Sam!!! that would be BREATHTAKING and knock everyone's socks off.... eta...and accompany the release with a video of them performing partially real and partially in cartoon and 3d'ish...no 'storyline...just performance IDK what it is going to take, but Pop radio is changing from what it was 2-3 years ago. I just looked at the Top 30 CHR songs and TWELVE of the top radio songs are from the teen heartthrob/TigerBeat crowd or are part of the latest British Invasion. I thought that Adele's popularity might bring a little sophistication to Pop music, but all it seems to have done is open the door for more artists from the UK. They are all over the charts! By the time you add in the Pitbull/Drake/Nikki Minaj/Calvin Harris collab type songs and the songs from the girl Diva combo of Rihanna/Katy Perry/Kelly Clarkson/Adele, there are very few spots left for any other types of songs. Those spots are being grabbed up by a couple of Alt. Rock crossovers and Train. There just aren't many spots on the Pop charts for white pop guys who aren't doing a Rap collab, from the UK, crossing over from Alt., or aren't teenagers. Adam is in a category that isn't getting much interests from the Pop stations at this time. :(

Assuming it's a radio hit popular with teens... I live with my sister and niece who is 18. My niece was just telling me that for a birthday party in her college program, she was tasked with making the music playlist. She's as big an Adam fan as I am (she's who I took with me to GNT), so she included all of the "fast" songs on Trespassing on the playlist. She knew that some of her friends liked Adam, but she knew many of them knew WWFM only. She told me that the "fast" songs were a huge hit amongst those at the party -- whose age range was 18--25. The five most popular songs were: 1. Trespassing 2. Cuckoo 3. NCOE 4. Kickin' In 5. Shady She said that Trespassing was THE song of the night and the one everyone wanted to hear over and over. It was the song everyone memorized and went home and bought on iTunes, the song everyone then sang to each other, etc. The line that hooked everyone was, "I ain't got no bs in my bag." She said that it became a tag line for everyone at the party. I realize it's only an anecdotal example, but I thought it was interesting how Trespassing was THE song they all loved. ETA: I will also say that again (anecdotal example though it was), NONE of the people at the party knew Adam's cd was out, even the ones who counted themselves his fans. I think RCA needs to find a way to reach that market because it didn't seem to work for at least that particular group of fans. I asked my niece how they find out about music and she said that it's word of mouth, when something goes viral and from tv shows/commercials. Radio really wasn't a big way of finding out about new music for them.

When I played the album for my friends, Trespassing was a favorite across the board. And I'm 19. It isn't a radio friendly song, but its a song that I think it is a song that a lot of people my age can relate to. P.S. I love NCOE
