I just don't expect Tom Cruise to be powering though a RL song set on stage any time soon. 8-) ETA: I'll just say that Renee Zellwegger sounded pretty decent in the movie Chicago, but I noticed that she flatly refused to sing live. She let Catherine Zeta-Jones and Queen Latifa sing her song at the Oscars. Movie magic lets you have a near infinite amount of takes to get it "just right". [grins] But I still am guessing it took Tom Cruise less time to make his songs sound good in Rock of Ages than the time needed to finish the scenes in Eyes Wide Shut!  |
