Anyone from Chicagoland, Kiss FM has slowed spins. The DJ on now says to request by text at 51035. So if you only do mediabase forms maybe throw in a text request too. Thanks! How do most people request? I've gotten into a rut lately of just doing MB because it was easy to click on page 1. But I saw someone on twitter who said a DJ told them they don't pay as much attention to them, more text and phone calls because that's what casual/local listeners mostly do. Also, depending on the station FB and tweets. The one time the Chicago pop station posted Adam's video on their FB page it got a weak response. Who knows but maybe trying multiple methods may help to give NCOE a boost? Are most people already doing this and I've been the only lazy ass? asked me about this earlier today, and I didn't know the answer. Was going to ask around before posting on this subject, but as long as the topic's been breached, might as well post this now! Apparently, the following exchange showed up on Twitter (thanks jamie) Read from bottom up...Personally, I think if your local station encourages text requests, why not text request as well? One can always phone request as well. (Although I will admit that I've never called in a request in my entire life, even as a teenager glued to the radio, so I can't really see myself doing it now...but that's just me  . I do tweet thank you's when I hear the new Adam songs on my radio stations, tho'. ) |

ON VH1 Top 20 Videos ----
No one posting on this site, any other fan site or Tweeting "info" knows how Vh1 picks the videos on the Top 20 ballot. And they do not release that information. The people who know this information know not to release it. They only thing that VH1 folks say is that the voting is part of what is used and sales are a factor. I have never seen5 n any info on what they do.
ETA: If you are the fan who has this secret formula - please feel free to share it with the source.
And if you analyze the choices there is no pattern.
I am far more interested in seeing NCOE added to the VH1 playlist. They have 5 new adds to the VH1 playlist -- if you can find a pattern here, you are a better analysis than I am.

I want to see ALL ages screaming for Adam. I see your point and I agree. What I was trying to convey is if it takes JUST screaming teens to impress radio and thus start radio play, I'm not that interested. I guess I wish the pop radio play demographic was just a little broader. AND, to another point... I too think we should be texting our radio requests. You know that's where the majority of requests must be coming from. Also, I don't think it's possible to determine the age of the person texting whereas the mediabase form provides enough information to make a determination. I don't know about this for sure but can they determine if a text is local? |

This is making me very happy.. Went to OnDemand...music free.. music choice... all artists . A .. Adam was first with the following :The F word then two down after Alicia Keys there are the following videos BTIKM,IIHY and WWFM..I'm kind of thrilled that I can see Adam's videos on TV . This means a lot to me, I used to watch IIHY all the time on music choice.. YAY  I just watched all three videos and ended up crying .WTF is wrong with me.. Ok.. Adam went from being a kid to being a man.. It's so obvious,when you watch one video after another.. Amazing. If you have On Demand and have about 20 minutes to spare sometime,give it a look. |

Unless a station is actively promoting texting requests -- it is usually #2 or #3 method. Texting fine but do not spam text. |
