I text KTU now. I love getting my text from them right before they play it! I used to text Z100 too, for IIHY and WWFM Can you please go to the "Radio Request Information - THE LIST" sub-thread under "The Music Industry, Radio Request Info & Strategy" (on home page), and post the text info there?
Thanks!!

OTT but they would need to have 2 biological children. A little Adam and a little Sauli. Can you imagine:) [smiles] Ok, even more OTT... I wish they could get an egg from one of Sauli's sisters. That would the closest they would get to having a biological child together, and it would be a blood grandchild on both sides. They could then get a surrogate to carry the baby to term. And think what a beautiful, sunny child THAT would be. Ok, even more more OTT... I have close friends who had a daughter by a surrogate... both of them have sisters...the idea that you write about got killed in about a sec, because how would you feel knowing that you are the mother and the child is not being brought up by you? and you are "officially" the aunt? Their solution was to mix the sperm and have the nature decide.... They know who's biological child this is and the next one will be fathered by the other dad. They do want to have three children, so I have no idea how they will go about that.... on another topic: Does anyone think that there is even a remote chance of Adam joining Neil and Sam on stage tonight?

Even if one of his sisters did volunteer and really wanted to do it, there can be a lot of things to prohibit it working out that way. It's a lovely thought though and I'm so glad they live in a time when there are so many options. ETA: Another interesting angle, Nica!! Momtomany, your essay made me choke up. REALLY beautiful!!

Fight back with a triple play: 1. Support J C Penney by buying a JCP gift card. 2. Support LGBT youth by donating the gift card to a non-profit group that supports them (such as 1 in 10?). 3. Enjoy a tax deduction! :D Great idea, JustKaren - a JCP gift card to 1n10 would be perfect right now because they are in process of getting ready for Outdoors! Camp, one of only a handful of such camps for LGBTQ youth in the world. It was attended by youth from US, Canada and Mexico last year, and continues to expand globally. onenten.org/?s=adam+lambert+outdoors+camp - read at this link about the contributions that Adam's fans made to support 2011 Camp. You can send the JCP gift cards to the Camp's director: Kado Stewart c/o 1n10 2700 North 3rd Street Suite #2011 Phoenix, AZ 85004 (602) 400-2601 onenten.org Thank you again, JustKaren, for this timely triple play!

I know someone who didn't only donate an egg for her sister, but also carried the baby for her!

There was a huge discussion here the other day. A conversation with a d-jay basically stated tht they do not use the media forms. Texts and twitter seem to be the mode of getting songs played. Maybe we need to get the tweet accounts and text codes for all the stations and proceed with that. Kids text and twitter and don't use media base forms. They get the songs played. Let's not generalize. ONE dj from ONE station said that they tend to pay more attention to texts than Mediabase forms. [shrugs] Different stations may do things differently. I, personally, have never heard my local radio stations ask for text requests. That said. if people hear about text requests for Adam songs, lets post them here on ATOP.Thanks! Some stations actually discard texts requests because they are hard to tabulate. The best thing is to look at your local station's website and listen to the drive-time and request programs. The stations make it clear how they want to get requests. My local KISS station wants online requests from their website, so that is what I do. Real listeners of stations know how to request. If you are not a "real" listener, then do a few minutes of research to figure it out. There are no standard methods of requesting. ETA: Do not text a request to a station that has not asked for it. Do not do anything that looks like a fan campaign. It helps to request different ways on different days. Call one day, text another, send a MB Request for once a week, etc.
