When I look at all those rehearsal pictures I just see how many presents Adam is going to have to get on future Father's days.... :-)
can never have too many fathers....
eta...have to put in a good word for Strut...always liked it from first listen!

New member, old fan visitor- please add me to the London show list for the 11th and 12th- thanks. Also is there still room for the pre-party on the 10th? I was invited to come along by another member since I've lost my traveling partner and coming solo now. thank you!

As long as Another one Bites the Dust is on that setlist, I will be a very, very happy woman. Was that a "thumbs up" from Brian in the booth? Makes me incredibly happy to see that.
As for strut, skipped it on the CD, and just enjoyed the dancing and Adam's wailing live. It's the simplistic rhyming of the lyrics in the verses that turned me off.

Ahhhh . . . . back to this welcoming, wonderful forum, after a Father's Day feast that's left me barely able to belly up to the computer. Thank you for the many kind and inspiring words that came my way today. Every time I click on 'Adamtopia' I know I'll find friendship, insight, curious questions and sometimes even more curious answers! There's dessert, food for thought, and definitely the most intricate analyses of the music, moods, thoughts, perceptions, photos, antics, and forward fashion styles of our one-and-only Adam. I love you. I love your names, your avis and your gifs, and your glittery stars. I love the collective concern we have for one another. I'm inspired by the little quotes under the comments we make, which reveal to me a sensitivity; they let me in and allow me a peek into the reality of each of us. That's what gives this forum a living dimension in my heart. So, I say thanks to Q3, the moderators, and everyone who brings presence to this place. And, just to let you all know . . . . I didn't like Strut all that much till I saw Adam strut - then it was 'let me see you do it to the cane!' "Master Plan" has recently grown on me . . . something about that beat - and, actually, I'm really listening to the words this time around. My crazy train leaves the station in only 10 days. I better wipe my eyes, shut up and get packing! Enjoy your trip.

I better wipe my eyes, shut up and get packing! I didn't get a chance to respond to your essay yesterday but it was with me all day. I brought it down to read to my husband as I thought it was one of the most beautiful expressions of the impact and transformative energy of the collective phenomenon we call Adam Lambert. There was something about how your feelings were worded and put together that finally resulted in hubby truly "getting it" and being thrilled for me that I have this in my life. So thank you so much!!!
