This is not just about flight logistics.
This is also about focusing your inner energy and right now, Adam has to concentrate on this Queen thing and is probably very much feeling that the SFO deal is already taking his inner strength and concentration away from the Queen music and forces him back to his own music and then he has to find his way back to where he left off. Leaning 16 or so songs starting with the lyrics and then taking them to a world class level is an enormous task. I do think Adam can do it, but I can fully understand that he does not want to spread himself too thin will preparing for it.
Even though I would love to see him playing Shady together with Nile and Sam right now, but realistically, the timing just does not work out. This past week in London would have been easier than Montreux and yet Adam decided not to do it.
I think this is one where playing the guitar is a bit a different level of personal involvement in a gig than being the lead singer for lyrics you are just learning right now and stepping into the shoes of one of the greatest rock vocalists in the world and knowing you are writing your own history in the process.
I think that Shady and Nile are not going anywhere and once we reach mid-July or August, depending on whether the Olymp is still holding any secrets or not, then Adam can be more flexible again. The Jazz festival will be there next year also, or other festivals will. Yes, it would be a great opportunity, but the timing is not right. I think Adam is doing the right thing.

Thank you, Reihmer, for the birthday cake, and Gelly, for the Adam gif. Today is a milestone birthday for me as I turn 75 today, putting me in the "senior citizen" category, I guess.
However, I wanted to take this opportunity to let you all know how much I enjoy this fan site. I had checked out other fan sites, but finally jumped into this one as the best and most comprehensive site. There are so many of you that I would like to call out, but for now, one in particular, and it's you, Q3, for setting up, organizing and maintaining this great site. First of all, there is so much info about Adam from videos, interviews, pictures, gifs, etc - in fact more than I can ever wish for. I also enjoy the in-depth discussions from such varied topics as the importance of radio play for Adam's career to gaining a much better understanding of what Burning Man is all about. With your new directive, Q3, I've been exploring some of the sub-topics, and right now am liking the Moon Journey sub-topic. A third, very important aspect of this site is the positivity, caring and compassion that I see daily. And finally, since I didn't come of age during the internet explosion, the interconnection here from all of you from all parts of the globe is still a wonderment to me - I love it - and that we are all connected in a common bond. It's a beautiful thing.
As for Adam, well, I've been a music lover all my life - all kinds of music, classic, folk, rock, blues, jazz, opera, musical theater, the old MGM musicals, you name it -and I love it all. I've seen David Bowie live in concert, and I've also seen Queen live in concert when Freddie was in his prime.
Now here comes Adam into my life when I'm in my seventies, and he has opened a whole new dimension of music to my life. He "makes me want to listen to music again". He is unique and stands alone - I compare him to no one. Adam has the finest tenor voice I have ever heard in my life with such a clarion purity that rings out from the highest notes that he belts out to the softer tones when pulling back in ballads - absolute beauty - and coupled with his charismatic stage presence, he is definitely one to be experienced live if at all possible. He is a true artist and a good man. I believe he will have a long career and he will continue to amaze us, delight us, and move us in the years ahead as well as in the here and now. I wish him the best as his career progresses and also on his life's journey. I am so glad he has come into my life and is now part of my life's journey - he is a tremendous talent and a beautiful soul - and he makes my heart sing.

also = in addition too = as well as meaning in addition to other guests and things happening on the show Adam is also appearing and will be singing his song. I know what "also" means . The issue was that they first tweeted only: Graham Norton Show @thegnshow This week, we welcome @iamwill, Miriam Margolyes & comic Greg Davies onto the sofa. Remember Miriam's last appearance?http://tiny.cc/cjb5fw4 hours later, after many people wondering why they didn't mention Adam in their tweet, they tweeted: Graham Norton Show @thegnshowalso this week, @adamlambert will be performing his latest single 'Never Close Our Eyes' from his album 'Trespassing'. #glamberts
So, it looks like they wouldn't have mentioned Adam at all, if people hadn't asked them about him being there or not. :( hadn't they mentioned him earlier?? isn't this pre-taped or something? I seem to recall a tweet or something about them being excited about him being there?

I have to admit it's kinda cool how Nile seems like he's just 'getting together w/ friends to jam' kinda sorta, lol. Adam is gonna wear himself out one day, lol. I'd love for him to do it but.......(the demand for him is nice)

The Queen performances are going to be an intense time for Adam. I'm sure he knows that many around the world will be watching and judging these performances. He needs to focus his energy on this material and his commitment to Queen and not be pulled out of that headspace for a one off with Nile and Sam. That will happen. No doubt about it. But during his week with Queen? Not the right time, IMO.
