So does the Graham Norton show play here in the states on the BBC America? Listing says 'new show' for 6/23/12 but the guests are not who are listed on that tweet? Just wondering. Hmmm nevermind I guess it will be a while after it appears in UK?

Nile Rodgers @nilerodgers I'm gonna hit Adam up now. Many people are flying in and out for the day. London is easy, but he may want to rest his voice. Thx Adam Lambert @adamlambert @nilerodgers yo! Doing my run w @queenwillrock at London's Hammersmith Apollo that week! Shady has to happen sometime though! It MUSTIt wouldn't make any since for him to fly out of London for one day to sing one song. If it weren't in the middle of his performances with Queen and his ONE DAY of rest between shows it might be plausible but the Queen concerts are going to be grueling. Even if it's only one song it just makes no sense to do it IMO Hmm, LOL like him flying back to the US to do one SF show where he is one of many others that day? Agree, he would only even consider it if Brian and Roger encouraged him. By that time the performances with Queen will be fairly down pat. I think it is do-able if he wanted to with Brian and Roger blessing and encouragement if it is that close and there is a private jet... The exposure would be another history moment for him. Doesn't sound from Adam's tweet like it will happen but there is a lot of time from now to then... Formal invitation has been extended from Nile, Sam says he may be able to make it, so I will secretly hope... It would be as much or more about networking and exposure to a new audience than singing one song...

Run4Roses @run4roses132 Go read! RT @requestadam: *IMPORTANT* Tips about being helpful re NCOE. Adam Lambert fans need to read this NOW! Plz RT wp.me/p24mml-FbCommon Sense Needs to Rule!requestadamlambert.com/2012/06/19/common-sense-needs-to-rule/Fellow fans: We are at a critical time with Adam’s latest single, “Never Close Our Eyes,” and there are a few things us fans can do to try to help. And I know everyone wants to help! 1) REQUEST. REQUEST. REQUEST. And that’s basically it…just request NCOE and go about your day (stations playing; other lists at top of web site). Engaging radio stations/personalities out of nowhere or attacking them if they state something we don’t like, gets us nowhere – if not behind square one! Even if it makes us momentarily feel better for letting off steam, it’s no excuse. We can’t badger or shame radio into playing X, Y or Z. Yes, fierceness can be good but we shouldn’t cross that clear line with radio. Plus, it’s RCA’s job to defend Adam to radio, not ours. (And just because we don’t see RCA making public statements to that effect, doesn’t mean the label isn’t doing it one-on-one with radio…of course they are!!) 2) If radio asks a simple question about Adam’s music, it’s OK to respond to the point – but THINK first. If a station asks which song you like the most on “Trespassing,” say his CURRENT SINGLE. This isn’t brain surgery…saying songs other than the current single makes it seem like even Adam’s fans don’t want to hear the song!! We know that’s not true, but it’s all about the perception we give out. more Wow, read the linked entry and have to say, here we go again. I AM a regular radio listener (it's a HAC channel, but plays a lot of Top 40 stuff). I have been listening to this station forever. I know the names of the DJs and the shows they have during the day, and the times to listen. But, I'm a little past 40 now, so I guess I need to stop listening and requesting, etc., or at least hide how old I am with an avi. I think I am done with this push push push for a while. I love Adam and think his talent will eventually win out if he stays true to himself, as he has so far. But the radio stuff has worn me down and I am over it for now. Good luck to all who are still fighting the good fight. Maybe I'll get back to it eventually. For now, I think I need a break. To all who are traveling to see Adam in Europe and the upcoming shows in the US, safe travels and enjoy the heck out of yourselves! I am sure you will be experiencing some serious EPICness! :D Thanks to Q3 and the mods for all you do.

You're the sort of person who matters most to your station. You're local, that station is your home base. Request away. Please.

The SF show is on June 27th isn't it? that's three days before the first Queen concert and not smack in the middle of shows. IMO he doesn't need Brian and Roger's permission or whatever to do the performance. He knows his own abilities and probably recognizes that performing on the 11th and 12th full concert sets with Queen, singing songs that are vocally challenging doesn't leave room to fly to Switzerland to perform one song and then fly back and perform an entire concert set with Queen again the next night. It's ONE SONG...it wouldn't be historical or even noteworthy outside the fandom IMO.

Guys, I'm dealing with a sudden death in the family. I'm running around, and my phone is almost out of bandwidth for the month. Not gonna fix the front page. Y'all know its August. Please chill out about the Twitter talk. Like most things, there's some truth to be found, but also a hell of a lot of exaggeration. Glean what useful information you can, then throw a heaping pile of salt on the rest and do what you feel is most right for you. REQUESTING IS IMPORTANT.
