Hmm, LOL like him flying back to the US to do one SF show where he is one of many others that day? Agree, he would only even consider it if Brian and Roger encouraged him. By that time the performances with Queen will be fairly down pat. I think it is do-able if he wanted to with Brian and Roger blessing and encouragement if it is that close and there is a private jet... The exposure would be another history moment for him. Doesn't sound from Adam's tweet like it will happen but there is a lot of time from now to then... Formal invitation has been extended from Nile, Sam says he may be able to make it, so I will secretly hope... It would be as much or more about networking and exposure to a new audience than singing one song... The SF show is on June 27th isn't it? that's three days before the first Queen concert and not smack in the middle of shows. IMO he doesn't need Brian and Roger's permission or whatever to do the performance. He knows his own abilities and probably recognizes that performing on the 11th and 12th full concert sets with Queen, singing songs that are vocally challenging doesn't leave room to fly to Switzerland to perform one song and then fly back and perform an entire concert set with Queen again the next night. It's ONE SONG...it wouldn't be historical or even noteworthy outside the fandom IMO. SF concert is on the 24th. Honestly I think it would be hard for Adam to get out of the Queen Headspace. Wow, read the linked entry and have to say, here we go again. I AM a regular radio listener (it's a HAC channel, but plays a lot of Top 40 stuff). I have been listening to this station forever. I know the names of the DJs and the shows they have during the day, and the times to listen. But, I'm a little past 40 now, so I guess I need to stop listening and requesting, etc., or at least hide how old I am with an avi. Pfffftttt. You're a regular listener. Who cares how old you are? You're the sort of person who matters most to your station. You're local, that station is your home base. Request away. Please.  wrong time to give up though. What are one or two more weeks? And Adam will either make it over the next hurdle or he won't, but now is not the time to pull the plug, tbh. Can you hang in a little longer? Adam trusts that we have his back, so we better do exactly that, while he is out of the country, on a different mission. |

The best kind of requests come from fans who are long term LISTENERS, especially fans that already have established a relationship with their favorite station! Also, HAC stations do target an older Demographic than CHR stations. I would think 40 would be in the general age group that HAC is playing to. The requestAdam suggestions were just that, suggestions. The ideas about requesting were focused on Top 40 or CHR stations and those stations do target younger listeners. IMO, it never hurts to play the game! Adam admits to playing the game on American Idol and even doing it to promote singles and his album. Adam is a smart businessman, he also uses common sense in promoting himself and his music. If it's not "below" Adam to adjust a little and play a smart game to promote himself, so it's not below me to play a few games.  Take what you want from the suggestions, use some of it, all of it, or none of it. IMO, you should do whatever you feel comfortable with, but don't give up or stop requesting because of a few suggestions that are put out to the internet. The only person this hurts is Adam, not the fans who made the original suggestions. We are trying to help ADAM...for me, that's the bottom line! |

I don't but I send them one tweet daily to ask them to play Adam. It takes about 30 seconds. Come on -- request Adam once a day while you're scrolling through the blog. Please |
