My take on "organic" and "real" means songs that be more organic and real because the lyrics for these songs will be coming FROM him and his own experiences as opposed to being written FOR him or some other artist. I am sure there will still be more party time fun stuff and leather and whatnot but it will just be more EMOTIONAL GLITTER. LMAO. Which should be the title of his new cd btw. I agree! I mean, let's think about this for a sec-- organic and real for Adam isn't gonna be a song about sitting in a dive bar sobbing into his Miller Light about the girl who stole his heart and his pet duck. Adam's real life is about crazy creative friends and being chased down by drag queens and partying with Ke$ha in Paris. So yeah, still VERY glittery on the inside  |

I believe the first openly gay solo artist signed to a major label contract for their debut is Will Young. He came out (forced by a UK Tabloid) in March 2002. He was signed to RCA/BMG. I do not think the album was released in the US -- it certainly did not chart in the US. In fact, can't find him on the US charts at all. So if it is released in the US and distributed to US retail -- I still am with Adam. What about Jobriath in the US? |
