Adam singing as Margaret Mead: ETAthis doesn't sound like our adam at aaalllll. PS I know it's adam Remarkable, isn't he? Since it is kinda slow until Kiev, I have started a new sub-thread in the Vocal Masterclass. We have all remarked on how unique Adam is in that he can sing in so many different ways, and sound so different. I want to develop a playlist of Adam songs that demonstrates his remarkable ability to cross styles, genres, vocal tones, ranges and registers. Live, studio, old, new, rock, blues, opera, country, bootleg... wherever we can find examples. It will be fun, and also a great resource to refer to when we get a possible convert. Please search through your playlists, your bookmarks, your old notes, and your memory, and post suggestions here in the masterclass thread, along with the YT or other reference. adamtopia.com/index.cgi?board=vocal&action=display&thread=975

Wow, if this is the way radio works today. Adam is screwed unless RCA starts paying the indie reps to get songs played. This has been floating around twitter tonight. Its from 2001. Peeps have been tweeting it to radio stations and one person sent it to Neil... :-/

Rabbitrabbit found this in Wiki. Read the part about third party loopholes. Looks like it ended in 2007 with very heavy fines. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PayolaAlthough, Lyndsey Parker tweeted a reply to someone implying that it does still exist. :-/

Yay! The turtle has finally made it to the shore of Hawaii! Congrats!! aloha Think it will make another detour to the desert here??? (haribert, who also lives in Phoenix, has already received her FAULT a few weeks ago, my hope is dying a little each day after the disappointing trip back from my mailbox.... ) I believe your tortoise is trudging along, making good time (for a tortoise). Remember, they are slower than their ocean cousins.
LOL! Yea, somehow I get a feeling my little tortoise has been "hibernating" under a big ole rock 'cuz it's 110 degree out here in Phoenix today!! Yikes!

OT - watched HBO NewsRoom (or something like that). Jeff Daniels is like an identical twin to Eber Lambert in this series.

Another question regarding texting requests - do you think they're looking at area codes since cell phones can be carried from state to state without regard to area code? (I'm in TN but use my cellphone with a DC area code). I've only used it to text requests to DC and Baltimore but I could use it nationwide, right?

Cassie, I heard a rumor that they had put aside ONE Fault magazine to be hand delivered by Mr. Lambert himself.......could it be yours, hence the delay?
