Cool. Which words? Your technical explanation about phrasing and all that. The stuff I understand but can't explain in my own words because you're awesome and I'm not. ;D Awwww. You are awesome, too. And writing in your second language. Very impressive. It doesn't matter whose words, as long as we get the message out that Adam is a phenomenal singer, right?

Right! ;D Those who don't want to be enlightened won't listen; but at least, if someone happens upon our comments who is a little bit more open minded, they could learn something. It's worth a try, IMO.

Is it okay to say that i really liked Castle Man ??? : I think Adam biggest problem is that he was born in the wrong country. Maybe to be born in UK would have been better..... on the other hand, the glorious times when UK produced fantastic showmen/singers/rockstars/icons maybe are also over. UGH to 1D, Cheryl Cole etc. Maybe Adam was born in the wrong decade, he is clearly too bold for today. Funny isn't it : that today it is more of a problem for a men to be over the top, than it was 30 years ago, when there where still laws against homosexuality and fans could only speculate. Sorry long rant, if it bothers you, dear cassie, just delete. ;D

If this had been something that Adam had authorized for distribution as part of his history, or even had just been okay with being released I would be touting it as a very interesting example of how Adam can color his voice in so many different ways. Most of the song he is singing with a very "chest-y" tone with some grit and with less of that ping we are used to in his voice. But, the bridge is that beautiful, light, pure Adam tone we are used to. It sounds like it is sung by two different people. I think the song is kinda sucky, but.... the only real objection I have to it is Adam's.

What is Castle Man?" till I remembered -after a day- that once the same thing happened with another song. It had turned out, that it was from Take One too. I've never listened to that album, except to a few songs, when they were linked somewhere. Although the songs are kinda boring to me, I have have to say it is interesting to listen to them, because he sounds so different. ;D

I think we should definitely include here the various improvisations before I Want It All, when Adam's voice seems to be imitating Brian's guitar, or vice versa. (If that's not a showcase for versatility of voice, I don't know what is.) I'm really hoping that now that the tour is over, somebody will compile all the riffs into one file... Until then, here's one from Berlin: www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMA-T8PKHLM

From Live Journal fyentertainment.livejournal.com/69603.html?thread=291483363#t291483363niamhcat February 26 2015 such a lovely conversation on twitter, two musicians talking about adam's voice. i love it when musicians fap about him! Kym Ypres-Smith @kymysmith @pianist_1 @adamlambert @queenwillrock Just too fab for words - and a voice like I've never heard in classical or rock music!Kym Ypres-Smith @kymysmith @pianist_1 @adamlambert @queenwillrock The Liverpool crowd have just screamed the place down!!Joseph Fleetwood @pianist_1 @kymysmith @adamlambert @queenwillrock Yes he has this wonderful personality and presence, and this flawless precise technique. BreathtakingKym Ypres-Smith @kymysmith @pianist_1 @adamlambert @queenwillrock T echnique is stunning - no breaks and a range to kill any Bel Canto tenor stone dead!Joseph Fleetwood @pianist_1 @kymysmith @adamlambert @queenwillrock Oh, I didn't scream, I cried! Waited all my life to hear Queen, and Adam delivered the goods!Joseph Fleetwood @pianist_1 @kymysmith @adamlambert @queenwillrock well, Bel Canto is in his armoury I could hear that - especially in Killer QueenKym Ypres-Smith @kymysmith @pianist_1 @adamlambert @queenwillrock Too right! I must work out what some of his top notes are. I'm a high mezzo and they in my rangeJoseph Fleetwood @pianist_1 @kymysmith @adamlambert @queenwillrock He controlled up to a top E-flat at Wembley, and split into the A-flat above that by accident on STL!Joseph Fleetwood @pianist_1 @kymysmith @adamlambert @queenwillrock but it's not just having the notes- it's the fact he can USE THEM!Kym Ypres-Smith @kymysmith @pianist_1 @adamlambert @queenwillrock Jeez, think I Puritani is highest tenor at F#, so he would kill it. Adam sings at my range mostly!Kym Ypres-Smith @kymysmith @pianist_1 @adamlambert @queenwillrock Yep - falsetto, full head voice or mixed. Most opera singers would die for that ability.______________________________________________________________________ Cassie... you can delete this post if it doesn't belong here.
