Wasn't talking about the Queen foru, I ignore it like the plague cause it's just a cesspool of spite and negativity. I feel sorry for them that they can't be feeling our joy rightn ow Actually most of the comments on the Queen forum were positive tonight. Very few negative comments. 8-) *GASP* Glad to hear it :D :D :D Adam's scatfest on AOBTD, funniest thing in years omg

Pitch issues? I haven't noticed any except for a flat high note quite early on... then agian I am partially deaf from being in dubstep-blaring clubs ETA oh the post I was replying too vanished freakyyyyyyy Yeah. Sorry. I posted it and then decided that there was too much awesomeness tonight to tarnish it with any mention of a couple of places he was a little pitchy, dawg. But, since you caught the post before I deleted it, just a little warning to AToppers: IF there is any negative comment made about pitch by some reviewers or bloggers or naysayers, they are not making it up. But, don't let it harsh your mellow. All live performances have glitches; singers bobble a pitch, forget a word. Pianists hit the wrong key. Guitarists mess up the fingering on a run. Drummers miss a beat or drop a stick. That is the excitement of a live performance: it always has an element of risk, like walking a tight rope. Adam was marvelous! Ohhh my bad cassie, I haven't heard anything that bad though, Roger has been a little pitchy dawg but who cares THIS SHOW IS AMAZING aaahhh BTW never heard anyone pull off the AOBTD bridge like the studio version! ;D ;D Go Adam!!

From the bit I've read and everything I've seen indirectly, the Queen forums were not bad at all. I don't get spreading the toxicity of a few.

OK, what did I miss? ;D ;D ;D I'll have a hard time catching up but glad I spent some time after my church meeting because at the end, I am glad to announce I have converted 2 church ladies into Glamberts. After fellowship ended around 9:00 pm, people asked me what we will be doing in London. One lady said that we are going to see Adam sing with Queen! I waited with baited breath for reaction. One lady said, "Oh, my husband loves him. He has both his CDs and raves about Trespassing." This aroused the interest of 2 very conservative ladies so they asked, "Who is Adam Lambert". 2 hours later, after showing them videos from my little iphone and talking about the wonderful qualites of our BB, they are now Glamberts and will download his album on itunes. They also want to come to my house to watch videos. YAY! Now to wade through all these pages but hey, I won't close my eyes until I go through the whole thread.

LOL given the short prep time I heard relatively few - actually amazingly few spots that were obviously pitchy. Fat Bottomed Girls was one but there was something hinky going on with harmonies there. Adam has such great technique that he rescues stuff really fast when it does go off and that is a skill in itself. And Cassie yep to the live performance hire wire - is why I love live music. Overall was a tour de force performance for a warm up show ;D

Absolutely happy as fuck tonight. That was superb. Lot's of nice touches. I especially liked the lights switching to the colours of the original Pizza Oven at the start. Rufus was fantastic, Neil on the bass was solid (and a solo!) but after all the flak I've got to say that AL absolutely rose to the occasion. He can carry the catalogue. I'm always ready to moan and I thought PR was completely unsuited and did the songs a dis-service but this guy nailed it with the right balance of his own take but with respect to the originals and to Brian and Roger. I've heard his own stuff and I think it's crap. If I was him tonight I'd be very confused about where the future lies. IMO Queen + AL (of course I'd prefer a different name) should tour this show globally. This is the best shot Brian and Roger will ever get now and as a veteran Queen fan I would fully support it. To be honest I'm gob-smacked.

Interestingly he dressed from his closet. All the major pieces we've seen before. That was the biggest surprise to me. I thought surely that he had gone shopping for something new. I think this is the mix that people dont get: A genuine guy, singing some of the most memorable songs. And he is ALL of the voices. And he needs no costume. We love Adam for it, he even makes the illusion/picture/fantasy work, but in the end it is Adam and his Voice.

I love the almost gospel element that Adam bought to some of the songs - especially in his riffing. Boy took a few of those songs to CHURCH!
