Pitch issues? I haven't noticed any except for a flat high note quite early on... then agian I am partially deaf from being in dubstep-blaring clubs ETA oh the post I was replying too vanished freakyyyyyyy Yeah. Sorry. I posted it and then decided that there was too much awesomeness tonight to tarnish it with any mention of a couple of places he was a little pitchy, dawg. But, since you caught the post before I deleted it, just a little warning to AToppers: IF there is any negative comment made about pitch by some reviewers or bloggers or naysayers, they are not making it up. But, don't let it harsh your mellow. All live performances have glitches; singers bobble a pitch, forget a word. Pianists hit the wrong key. Guitarists mess up the fingering on a run. Drummers miss a beat or drop a stick. That is the excitement of a live performance: it always has an element of risk, like walking a tight rope. Adam was marvelous! Adam was GREAT!!! But, as Cassie said, he was not perfect. There is always room for improvement!

The concert was incredible. Thanks to Q3 and this board for giving us the link we needed to stream it. Youtubes are great, but there is just something special about watching and listening "live".
After the concert, I went to Gold's gym to work out. The club plays music "of the day", and listening to current radio hits, one can't help feeling that nothing compares to Adam.

From the Queen forum. Re: Queen+Adam Lambert and Elton John live in Kiev Postby R-F-M » Sat Jun 30, 2012 10:11 pm Absolutely happy as fuck tonight. That was superb. Lot's of nice touches. I especially liked the lights switching to the colours of the original Pizza Oven at the start. Rufus was fantastic, Neil on the bass was solid (and a solo!) but after all the flak I've got to say that AL absolutely rose to the occasion. He can carry the catalogue. I'm always ready to moan and I thought PR was completely unsuited and did the songs a dis-service but this guy nailed it with the right balance of his own take but with respect to the originals and to Brian and Roger.I've heard his own stuff and I think it's crap. If I was him tonight I'd be very confused about where the future lies. IMO Queen + AL (of course I'd prefer a different name) should tour this show globally. This is the best shot Brian and Roger will ever get now and as a veteran Queen fan I would fully support it. To be honest I'm gob-smacked. Sorry, but what is "Pizza oven start" this Queen fan is talking about?

Actually most of the comments on the Queen forum were positive tonight. Very few negative comments. 8-) *GASP* Glad to hear it :D :D :D Adam's scatfest on AOBTD, funniest thing in years omg What is AOBTD??? Oh, Another one bites the dust. Jeez, I get completely confused sometimes with all the abbreviations for * Adam's* songs, let alone Queen's. LOL YOU GUYS ARE GONNA HAFTA SPELL EVERYTHING OUT FOR ME!!!!

Adam soared, the band soared ... Thank you to the universe.

I've got to say that perfection at times is overrated. Today I saw a concert that I may never see again in my lifetime -- Elton John and Queen performing a 3+ hour concert. First, Elton John sounding great and showing off his mad piano skills for over 90 minutes. Then Queen + Adam for nearly 2 hours. Roger and Brian playing masterfully and with utter joy, and Adam being his usual awesome self. And the respective band members and back-up singers were great, IMO. I really could not ask for anything more from all of these people. And Elton, Brian and Roger are all in their sixties now. Who knows how much longer they will want to do concerts? So, for me, this was another reason for this day being special. I salute and thank all of these talented people. I was pasted to my laptop for 4 solid hours and loved every minute of it.

Another comments from Queen forum to flail (as I'm now), Don't Stop Me Now.....!!!!!!! Thought i'd never hear Brian play this ever again!!!! This is why Adam was brought in. Paul couldn't do stuff like KYA and DSMN. Adam can. This is brilliant! Holy crapstix, Under Pressure sounds incredible!!! this is from one that always sinical: Credit where it's due. This is pretty phenomenal. Few mistakes but it's their first time out of the traps so fair enough. I don't understand that back there someone said he can't sing. He obviously can. It may not be to your taste but he CAN sing and it helps some of the songs a great deal. from the same guy above: Absolutely happy as fuck tonight. That was superb. Lot's of nice touches. There is NOTHING that anyone could say that can harsh my joy about this concert. NOTHING. I heard the pitch issues, but it doesn't mean a thing to me.
