I can't think of any queen songs that would overly challenge Adam from a range perspective, but I can see how some of the arrangements could be... Although as TWOP Jacob once said his voice can do backflips while doing the dishes and hang out the washing at the same time (or something like that).  the boys at DDD thinks that the three songs Adam did on the EMA were to easy for his voice ;D ;D ;D so... exactly what Jacob at TWOP said above.. LOL |

Also, why is everyone thinking Eber hasn't met Brian and Roger yet? Not only were they at the Finale but also, this year the week Brian and Roger did Idol as mentors, Eber was in LA for a few days. Remember we were specualting then, if Eber was at the "meeting/get together" that Adam had with them. I think they had dinner at Adam's after Jimmy Kimmel Show. I haven't been this emotional, nervous or excited since I birthed my children many years ago. I don't know what to do with myself.
Holst, I do remember that video on how to fold sheets, and I do it everytime after I iron them. When I retired, to keep busy, I started ironing my sheets. Now I am at the stage that I can't sleepon a sheet that isn't ironed. Anybody remember the fable "The Princess and the Pea?" I guess I am a princess in my old age.
I am truly nervous today. I cried when I watched the final of Idol with Adam singing with Queen the first time. It brought back so many memories of my husband and I, and how excited we were about Adam. Truly, the first time we have ever agreed on anything. To take up my time until Adam and Queen, I am going to iron sheets. I just changed the spare room and my bedroom so I have two sets to iron. How sick is that.

Hi guys. I am out of town visiting my family. When the concert starts I will be out with everyone but plan on rushing the group home. Upon return there will likely be six young cousins running thru the only room in my mother's house with internet. I am planning on telling everyone I need to run to the store for something and racing to the nearest McDonalds hot spot with my laptop (gotta sneak that out somehow). So my question is: are we sure that Queen starts 1 1/2 hours into the show? I thought the show was only scheduled for 2 hours total. I don't have too much extra time to waste and dont want to miss the beginning. I have an upset stomach thinking about it--not at all worried but...THIS IS HUGE. I am imagining the emotions of Adam as he is likely preparing now... Who want's to live forever---It is too much for me to think about without getting worked up. And to think, others will be mindlessly eating french fries as I sit in the booth glued to a stream from Ukraine. Enjoy everyone! ETA but so nice to know that all of you and other Adam fans around the globe will be right there with me! I don't wanna be responsible for you missing any part of it, but last we heard, as far as I know, the show was supposed to be Elton John 8:30-10:00, and Queen 10:30-midnight. So I'd say 2 hours into the show, not 1.5. Good luck! :D |

Did all my ADAM voting this AM .. going to the Mall to walk where it's cool, Temperature going up to 100 today here in Asheville and we're a mountain community. Will be home to watch Queen and Adam , I have been tearing up all morning ,totally Verglempt.

Technically, Adam is much stronger than Freddie. That is no slam to Freddie, because Freddie did not have the extensive vocal training that Adam has. Range wise, Freddie beats Adam on the low end, Adam beats Freddie on the high end. But, Freddie's low notes were in harmonies on recordings. The melody lines in concerts are easily within Adam's range. There may be songs that have many layers of vocal harmonies which cannot be reproduced live without an extensive backing track. Those Queen may choose to eschew, but not because of Adam's ability.
Are you sure about that? Have you heard "Runnin"? (Rhetorical question.)
I watched the video that was posted last night of Queen's appearance on the Idol finale. I've seen it before probably a dozen times, but seeing it last night...knowing what has transpired since that night...I just burst into tears. I am so happy for Adam I can't even express it in mere words. |
