Agreed. Technically, Adam is much stronger than Freddie. That is no slam to Freddie, because Freddie did not have the extensive vocal training that Adam has. Range wise, Freddie beats Adam on the low end, Adam beats Freddie on the high end. But, Freddie's low notes were in harmonies on recordings. The melody lines in concerts are easily within Adam's range. There may be songs that have many layers of vocal harmonies which cannot be reproduced live without an extensive backing track. Those Queen may choose to eschew, but not because of Adam's ability. Are you sure about that? Have you heard "Runnin"? (Rhetorical question.)Freddie's harmony low lines are very strong and lower than Adam's bottom note, but his lowest note in a lead vocal is the same as Adam's on Runnin'

Fan Vid When Adam Met Queen! Magic Happened (Adam Lambert)
Published on Jun 29, 2012 by halag A video by request. Anna wanted me to make a celebration vid to mark the launch of the epic mini tour collaboration between Queen and Adam Lambert. I hope I've done her proud. This is a gift for Adam and for all of his beautiful, dedicated, creative, committed and passionate fans. It's also for Brian and Roger who love our BB and we love them just as much. It's been a pleasure getting to know them. I hope you like it. If I've missed you out of the credits let me know and I'll add you in.
GOOD LUCK ADAM!! WE'VE GOT YOUR BACK! Cheers @feraltwirler

Hi guys. I am out of town visiting my family. When the concert starts I will be out with everyone but plan on rushing the group home. Upon return there will likely be six young cousins running thru the only room in my mother's house with internet. I am planning on telling everyone I need to run to the store for something and racing to the nearest McDonalds hot spot with my laptop (gotta sneak that out somehow). So my question is: are we sure that Queen starts 1 1/2 hours into the show? I thought the show was only scheduled for 2 hours total. I don't have too much extra time to waste and dont want to miss the beginning. I have an upset stomach thinking about it--not at all worried but...THIS IS HUGE. I am imagining the emotions of Adam as he is likely preparing now... Who want's to live forever---It is too much for me to think about without getting worked up. And to think, others will be mindlessly eating french fries as I sit in the booth glued to a stream from Ukraine. Enjoy everyone! ETA but so nice to know that all of you and other Adam fans around the globe will be right there with me! I don't wanna be responsible for you missing any part of it, but last we heard, as far as I know, the show was supposed to be Elton John 8:30-10:00, and Queen 10:30-midnight. So I'd say 2 hours into the show, not 1.5. Good luck! :D Thanks a bunch! I wouldn't hold you responsible regardless. So many variables that I should probably wait till the day is quiet to watch. But how can I not be there when he first enters the stage with Queen????

I can't think of any queen songs that would overly challenge Adam from a range perspective, but I can see how some of the arrangements could be... Although as TWOP Jacob once said his voice can do backflips while doing the dishes and hang out the washing at the same time (or something like that). I think they've never performed full Bohemian Rhapsody LIVE, because it's too difficult to bring some part of the song LIVE. I found this Bohemian Rhapsody YT, they're using studio recording for the Operatic passage part of the song: I see a little silhouetto of a man, Scaramouche! Scaramouche! Will you do the Fandango?!
Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very frightening me! Galileo, Galileo Galileo, Galileo Galileo, Figaro - magnifico
I'm just a poor boy, nobody loves me He's just a poor boy from a poor family, Spare him his life from this monstrosity! Easy come, easy go, will you let me go Bismilah! No, we will not let you go (Let him go!) Bismilah! We will not let you go (Let him go!) Bismilah! We will not let you go (Let me go) Will not let you go (Let me go)(Never) Never let you go (Let me go) Never let you go (Let me go) Ah No, no, no, no, no, no, no Oh mama mia, mama mia, mama mia, let me go Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! So it will be difficult for us to expect Adam to sing BoRep without Adam, Brian and Roger re-recording that part for this show. Because IMO, this operatic passage part of the song is the most important part that you cannot just change it or improvise it. It's what make Bohemian Rhapsody a very famous song (please read the description on the YT below) and I don't think Brian will let it and I don't think Adam will want to change it up. Adam is too respectful to Freddie, to the band and to the song to change it up. HOWEVER ;D ;D, I just remembered, they're rehearsing in a small studio, so maybe... just maybe we will get Bohemian Rhapsody with Adam's voice singing the Operatic Passage Part above.. OMG.. I'm crossing my fingers now.
