I was thinking how much I love Adam's songs. There are fans who love him and his voice, but they keep criticizing his music. I.LOVE.HIS.SONGS! So this show was also great for that - to show me that I would trade a two-hour long Queen concert for Adam's show in a blink of an eye, any time of day.
After the fabulous Queenbert #1 Kiev concert yesterday, I had songs from "Trespassing" going through my head. ILHSM!

Thanks! Adam is not playing with them I assume? I can't believe there isn't a chance... After all, he's been adopted by two much loved Brits... :  I think the Olympic committee books Queen. Queen is English. The Olympic committee can't tell them what lead singer to use! JMHO!! However, I can see them doing one song, "We Are the Champions" and just having all the English artists that are already there do it as a group sing along with the athletes. In that case, they don't need an Adam Lambert! |

Have to say this ...
Freddie's death is a big tragedy for the band Queen. Legendary singer and performer dying in the middle of everything, the band's very productive stage. True tragedy.
And that's why they had the concert last night, wonderfully orchestrated concert for fighting AIDS, so people wouldn't die for this desease as Freddie's tragedy is an example. It was so to the point last night as it could have been.
And then there is Adam, gay and very much alive and in the beginning of his career. That's what happens, when people die of AIDS, they no longer exist, being a legend or not won't help staying alive. The message of the whole concert was delivered well.
Wonderful how Elton John's Foundation and his efforts are in action today.
Really was teary many many times last night, and not only because of Adam's singing.
